Evaluation .
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products  AUDIO:  From these screen shots of the conventional music videos and mine own take on the conventional music video for this music genre you can see that my ,music video both challenges  the conventions of a music  Camerawork: The camerawork used in my reggae music video was mainly fast pace  Editing: The editing is mainly fast paced cuts   Lighting: The lighting is the one thing that stands out because most reggae style music videos like the one on the right; welcome to Jamrock are shown in bright colours and bright natural daylight lighting, this differs from my music video.  Setting: The setting for my music video follows the conventions as it is outside
How effective is the combinations of your main product (music video) and ancillary texts (the website & digipack). My website contains most of the pictures shown in my cd cover which makes both my website site and cd cover match and work well as a combination Throughout my music video the Jamaican theme runs through from the whole product . I have used the three colours res yellow and green as my corporate identity colours to make all my products match.
Target audience. Our target audience was aimed at teenagers to young adults around the ages of 15-21 years which was shown in my research and planning for my music video.  This was achieved from the use of locations we used in making our music video, which jus was mainly to show everyday life on the streets  This is a screenshot of one of the locations used for this music video.
What have you learned from your audience feedback? From my audiences feedback on social sites like Facebook and YouTube  I have learned that my music video and website and digipack followed the same theme and genre throughout the whole process, which I wanted to achieve “I think this is a good take on the natty videos and videos from its genre”, but the digipack did not follows through some of the codes and conventions that were meant to be in shown in my music video for example the use of colours did not run through in my music video and they were different to others in the same reggae genre. This is quote from YouTube commenting on my music video.
How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages. These are pictures of the technology I used to create my music video and edit it using final cut pro. This programme enabled me to change the size colour and set up of my music video. I used this camera and tripod to film my music video
