2. Research and planning
In the initial stages of my research and planning YouTube played a
vital part in aiding me to select my song for my music video which
in the end I chose ‘ain’t it fun by Paramore’ after choosing the
song I had to research into the codes and conventions that were
associated with my chosen genre which was pop rock and did
research into similar to able to identify what my audience would
expect to see.
Google chrome was used consistently throughout my
development of my music video as I would have to use it access
my weebly blog which I kept all my evidence of the development
and ideas for my music video. Google chrome would also help me
research theory’s about music videos so as the internet is vast
with knowledge I would use a number of links to help me gather
information behind why I did things in my music video
I message was used consistently throughout the research
and planning to be able to contact our actors and set dates
they was able to film for us and also let them know what they
need to do and bring for the certain days we will be filming.
This has made it easier for us to mange time well and also
stay organised.
3. Throughout my research and planning social media such as twitter, instagram,
whatsapp played a vital part as it helped me stay in contact at all times with
my partner Jessica so we could discuss what will we do for our music video and
any ideas we want to share with each other. It also allowed me to get regular
feedback from my target audience it also
allowed me to present both my website and cd cover to my target audience
members and get feedback from them to help me meet all the criteria they
requested to see in a

5. When constructing my album cover I used a Canon SX 520HS to
take the photos. This gave me high quality shots. Then when I
had the shots, I used Photoshop to edit and manipulate my
images to be a cd cover suitable for my genre. To create my
webiste use the website “wix.com”

when making my music video I used a better quality camera the Canon
DSLR EOS this allowed me to use manual features to experiment with
different shots such as the depth of field shot. To edit my music video I used
a MacBook pro with the latest software of final cut pro this allowed me to
make a Professional looking video which had clean and smooth transitions.
7. Evaluation
For my evaluation I used different forms of presentational software
such as prezi, slideshare, emaze and scribd. I did this because it
was different way of displaying my answer so it would get me
higher grades and also make it more interesting for the marker.
