2. Q.1 in what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? My CD cover follows the conventions of a reggae CD cover in various ways. I’ve got all the correct colours that are a theme to the reggae industry. In terms of the conventions in general, I have the artists picture on the front. 3. Q2. how effective is the combinations of your main product (music video) and ancillary text (the website and digipak)? My music video, CD cover and website all go well with each other, when looking at its obvious its suppose to come as a package. The same colours are used throughout, and the actors for the music video are used for pictures in the cd cover and on the website. Looking at the music video, it was filmed in black and white, on the cd cover for the song the picture is also black and white and its also a scene from the video.

4. Q3. what have you learned from your audience feedback? This is feed back of my video that I uploaded to YouTube. I have learnt that my music video did not follow all the conventions. Some people commented on why the video is ‘black & white’. This means we could have portrayed our concept better to the target audience. Though they said they liked it’s difference, they commented on the lack of colour causing misrepresentation in the reggae genre.

5. Q4. how did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? I used to construct my music video. I used final cut pro. The key board was very different to a usual one and had keys that were specific for making the video.
