This document defines angles and describes how to measure, construct, classify, and bisect angles. It contains the following key points:

La mairesse de Châteauguay, Mme Nathalie Simon, a tenu à faire le point aujourd’hui en ce qui concerne les nouvelles infrastructures sportives prévues par la Régie intermunicipale sports et loisirs de Beauharnois-Châteauguay.
L’entente avec la Ville de Beauharnois prévoit quatre projets d’infrastructures sportives et récréatives, soit un complexe sportif intérieur, un complexe aquatique intérieur et extérieur et un centre de plein air quatre saisons, dont l’investissement total représente un coût de 51 M$.
« Ces projets viennent combler un manque criant d’infrastructures sportives dans la région et remplacer les installations actuelles en fin de vie utile. À terme, en 2021, il s’agit d’une augmentation représentant environ 36 $ pour une maison unifamiliale moyenne. » précise Mme Simon.
En ce qui concerne le complexe sportif intérieur prévu en phase 1 (automne 2017) à Châteauguay, une équipe de spécialistes a remis le plan fonctionnel et technique le 30 septembre dernier, qui nous indique que nous pouvons conserver la dalle de béton et réutiliser comme agrégats les piliers déjà en place. Le terrain retenu fera l’objet d’un achat par la Ville ou par la Régie; le coût d’acquisition est en deçà de la valeur marchande et il s’agit de l’unique terrain disponible en mesure d’accueillir cette infrastructure d’envergure.
En phase 2, c’est-à-dire en 2019, les projets prévus sont la mise en place du complexe aquatique intérieur et du centre récréatif quatre saisons.
Rappelons que divers éléments, tels que les revenus générés par la vente du terrain où est localisé le Polydium (revenu exceptionnel) et les revenus de taxes foncières générés par le projet implanté sur ce site (revenus récurrents), viendront diminuer la charge sur les contribuables.

The education sector globally is facing a lot of challenges: the challenge of numbers, of relevance, of quality, of access, of costs and of speed. The solution to these multiple challenges probably lies in a number of disruptive innovative solutions. These include inculcating self-learning (building on meta-cognition), measuring learning, collaborative and co-operative learning, personalisation of learning and learning analytics. However, in addition to new systems or technologies, we need a fundamental change of perspective. A very promising technological and pedagogical model that has received a lot of attention during the last few years and adoption by Stanford, Harvard, Duke and almost 100 of the world's top ranking Universities to teach millions of learners is that of the MOOC.
The Open Educational Resources have become an important part of educational delivery. The establishment of OER University is a milestone in that direction. There are hundreds of OER repositories to allow teachers and students to use, and adopt content. Keeping in view the significance of OERs, we organized The OER MOOC with the purpose to enhance knowledge about OERs and to equip for effective use and adopt OERs in ones programs as well as to be able to create your own OERs and contribute to the pool of OER resources. We further wanted to explore the potential of MOOCs to create a model of simultaneously teaching on-site and off-site learners, using synchronous and a-synchronous teacher learner interactions to deliver high quality learning to large numbers, maybe evolve a model for a classroom of 10,000 learners. In this study, we shall elaborate on our methodology, outcomes and the impact factors The OER MOOC had on the learners.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts.
