EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Designing a Freemium App to educate the people
regarding the various health-related concerns, their
remedial measures, nutritional facts and benefits of
various food items, the day-to-day diet plans, and much
more.
It will provide various relevant information about the
latest developments in the medical field, how to stay
fit and take care of one’s health.
It aims at providing a wholesome and memorable
experience to the consumers by helping them find the
benefits and nutritional facts of consuming the
various food items and the generation of a fit and
healthy society.
SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS
In today’s world, rarely a week goes by without a
headline about the emergence or re-emergence of an
infectious disease or other health threat
somewhere in the world. Taking care of health is
emerging as a major concern before the entire
world. Thereby, even a small step towards
educating the masses regarding the health issues
and remedial measures, can prove as a boon to the
society.
Achieving and maintaining health is an ongoing process,
shaped by both the evolution of health care knowledge and
practices as well as personal strategies and organized
interventions for staying healthy. One must take care of the
self-care strategies, diets, role of science, and various
other facts to lead a disease-free and healthy life.
As a freemium app, its one major goal is to
generate revenue by increasing the popularity
among the people, gaining their interests and
attention towards the app, attracting
advertisements and so on.
But since the number of smartphone and mobile
app users are increasing day-by-day, the most
important aim of the app is to create a health
conscious society which is well equipped and
knowledgeable regarding the various health
concerns and their remedial measures.

1. Diet plans and charts on a daily basis.
2. Nutritional information regarding the
various food items.
3. Ways to stay fit and healthy.
4. Latest information regarding the various
illness and diseases.
5. Latest articles on cures and remedies
developed.
TARGET CUSTOMERS
This app will target a very large range of customers as it
targets all the smartphone users, mostly in the age range
of 18-60, and the urban and educated masses who are
more concerned with their health and diet.

1. Health and Nutrition Facts.
2. Day-to-Day Home remedies.
3. Linking through social media
accounts/Google account.
4. Limited access to a few premium features
such as videos by various experts/doctors.
PREMIUM FEATURES
1. Personalised expert advice.
2. Access to various health magazines and
journals.
3. Discount coupons for health check-ups at
leading hospitals and centres.
4. Advertisement free experience.
POINTS OF PARITY
Points of Parity are:-
1. Latest Nutrition related news and
articles.
2. Health Benefits of various food
items.
3. Home remedies and tips for curing
various illness.
POINTS OF DIFFERENCES
Points of Difference are:-
1. Location tracking of individuals and providing the
locations and contacts of the nearby experts and
nutritionists.
2. Offline features such as articles, videos, etc.
through download option.
3. Getting feedback from the customers and providing
quick responses through the experts.
1. Integrating with social media platforms
such as Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.
2. Through personalised blogs of myself as well as friends.
3. Through mails and Demo-Videos on YouTube.
4. By joining Developers and
Entrepreneurs groups on social media.
5. Creating an 'eye-catching' app icon.
6. Applying various advanced techniques such as SEO,
App Store Optimisation, etc.
7. Providing free incentives such as
premium access for limited periods,
etc. and generating good word-of-mouth.

The Prices are kept reasonably low at first
even though a lot of features are being
provided, so as to attract more and more
number of customers. The prices may vary
depending upon the audience response and
interests. More price packs might also be
introduced in future consisting of more
advanced and additional features.

Designing a Freemium App to educate the people regarding the various health-related concerns, their remedial measures, nutritional facts and benefits of various food items, the day-to-day diet plans, and much more. It will provide various relevant information about the latest developments in the medical field, how to stay fit and take care of one’s health.
  • 6. It aims at providing a wholesome and memorable experience to the consumers by helping them find the benefits and nutritional facts of consuming the various food items and the generation of a fit and healthy society.
  • 8. In today’s world, rarely a week goes by without a headline about the emergence or re-emergence of an infectious disease or other health threat somewhere in the world. Taking care of health is emerging as a major concern before the entire world. Thereby, even a small step towards educating the masses regarding the health issues and remedial measures, can prove as a boon to the society.

Achieving and maintaining health is an ongoing process, shaped by both the evolution of health care knowledge and practices as well as personal strategies and organized interventions for staying healthy. One must take care of the self-care strategies, diets, role of science, and various other facts to lead a disease-free and healthy life.
