Theaters of the Renaissance Theaters and Drama have been around for quite
sometime. The production of these play have changed over the years. The theaters
in the Renaissance helped to shape the way of theaters to how we know them

few of the main theaters at the time. The role that these theaters played was very
important and influential to the culture of theaters in today s society. In England
there were pretty much two different kinds of buildings. There were outside
playhouses which were used for things like bear baiting. And Inns, which are

Public theaters were mostly found in the suburbs. Public theaters were The Rose,

This aphasia mash up project is intended to remediate lexical retrieval at the discourse
level in a variety of communication settings and communication partners relevant to
the patient s interests. People with Aphasia often have difficulty with word retrieval
which limits discourse capacity. This in turn negatively effects communication
interactions with others and increases isolation. Therefore, therapy is often centered
around improving wordretrieval that will facilitate communication with others.
Unfortunately, trained skills in therapy have demonstrated varying levels of
generalization. There are several treatment approaches that have demonstrated
efficacy for individuals with aphasiasuch as Semantic Feature Analysis. A limitation
with this method is that it focuses on nouns and has not shown limited generalization
to generalize to discourse and hashave not shown significant evidence for
maintenance (Kiran Bassetto 2008). Another approach used in therapy is the use of
verbs. Verbs are central to syntax, semanticsand event memory. Therefore, VNeST is
effective because it targets semantic networks based around verbs, which also targets
things such as nouns, syntax, and thematic roles. Verbs are expected to activate more
neural networks in comparison to targeting nouns alone. Furthermore, previous
studies have used VNeST and shown to be beneficial to patients with moderate fluent

fugue, Berg explores the possibilities of various numeric significances and an ever
evolving harmonic and melodic vocabulary. By presenting the audience with a
familiar formal structure Berg is then free to more openly manipulate and change
other variables such as using non functional harmonies and unresolved melodic
passages. He combines both dramatic and musical foreshadowing to create a visual
and aural experience for the listener that is while always being conscious with what
would be too overwhelming to the audience. Berg creates an opera ripe with
symbolism and significance. The introspective Scene I of Act III is no exception.
The scene opens with Marie in her continued struggle through life, attempting to
find solace in her bible. The audience is presented with her frantic behavior in this

Microbial Unknowns Objective: In the past couple of weeks, our class received a
single broth that contained two species of bacterium. One bacterium was gram
positive and one bacterium was gram negative. We were required to use our
techniques and knowledge we learned in class to separate and identify the two
species we were given in our broths. Methodology: Day One: On the first day of
our Biochemical Unknown Lab we were given a tube that contained broth media
which held two different types of bacterium. Once we were given our broths, we
had to streak two Nutrient Agar plates with the mixed culture tube by using a loop.
After I streaked my Nutrient Agar plates, I decided to perform a gram stain. First I
flamed the loop and set it aside to cool. After I flamed the loop I prepared two
slides with a drop of water in the middle. Once the loop was cool I dipped the loop
into the broth and smeared the loop onto both slides mixing the unknown
bacterium with the water. I flamed my loop, set it aside, heat fixed both slides,
and let the slides air dry. Once the slide were dry I set them on two rods above the
drainage area and covered the smears with Crystal Violet. I let the Crystal Violet sit
on the smear for one minute and rinsed off the Crystal Violet. Once the Crystal
Violet was rinsed I applied Grams Iodine and let that sit for one minute. After one
minute passed I rinsed the slide again and moved on to applying the alcohol. I
dripped the alcohol onto the slide until the

On April 10, 1962, the United States steel companies decided to raise the price of
steel by 3.5 percent during one of the nation s most traumatic wars that affect the
veterans still to this day: the Vietnam War. To put things in perspective, steel prices
have effects on nearly everything, such as the cost of homes, the cost of appliances,
and the cost of building infrastructures. President Kennedy had been calling for
stable and affordable steel prices for a long time at this point in time; however, the
steel companies still raised the price. The day after the increase in steel prices,
President Kennedy held a news conference to call out the steel companies. In this
news conference, President John F. Kennedydelivers a speech that employs several
rhetorical devices, specifically repetition, ethos, and pathos in order to incite the
audience to protest against the steel companies; which would, in turn, inflict
pressure on the steel companies to lower the cost of steel. Throughout his speech,
Kennedy utilizes a rhetorical device called repetition. Kennedy applies this strategy
when he states, ...It would make it more difficult for American Goods to compete in
foreign markets, more difficult to withstand competition from foreign imports and
thus more difficult to improve our balance of payment positions... (Ln. 35 40) The
evidence clearly represents repetition because the phrase more difficult repeats
exactly three times. Repetition enables Kennedy to provoke urgency by repetition
of the same phrase with regards to convincing the audience into exhorting the steel

war borne from clashing ideologies and beliefs, and divided the nation by North and
South and brother against brother. The North believed in that a strong central
government was the best way to govern the nation. They supported the Republican
