Marginalized children are those confined to the edges of society and denied access to the mainstream. The center exploits and pushes away groups to remain dominant and keep others marginalized. Marginalization can occur through social, political, or economic exclusion and is caused by factors like globalization, displacement, disasters, disabilities, and ethnic minorities. It affects individuals, communities, tribes, and castes. Specially abled children with rare disabilities like autism or dyslexia are also marginalized as they cannot behave like normal children. Marginalized children are more vulnerable than non-marginalized children or adults due to their status.
