Bangladesh. Mango won its license through an open auction from Bangladesh
Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) on February 25, 2008.

4. The Journey Started…..
•Private Limited Company established in 2007.
•Started operation as first private sector IIG (International
Internet Gateway) in August 2008 to provide IP transit
services.
•With the inception of Mango the growth of internet usage
in Bangladesh has got a phenomenal boost up.(The total number of
Internet Subscribers has reached 2,83,72,000 at the end of November 2011. (BTRC))

• License for "International Internet Gateway (IIG)"
• License for "International Terrestrial Cable (ITC)"
• License for "Broad Band Wireless Access (BWA)/WiMAX"
• License for "Digital Signature Certifying Authority (CA)"

7. IIG
• “IIGs will serve as a gateway for routing International
incoming and outgoing Internet based data traffic. The
gateway will be connected with the existing Submarine
cable as main link and with the Satellite Earth
Station/VSAT as back up until another Submarine cable is
available.

8. International Terrestrial Cable
(ITC)
•MANGO ITC is the most promising International Terrestrial
Cable (ITC) operator in Bangladesh. Mango was awarded the
ITC license from Bangladesh Telecommunication &
Regulatory Commission (BTRC) in January 05, 2012 and
commenced its commercial operation on 27 Dec 2012.

9. Mango Digital Signature Certifying
Authority
• The Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) Bangladesh handed over
officially Certifying Authority (CA) License to Mango Teleservices Ltd on an
auspicious occasion on 19 January 2011.
• As a Certifying Authority (CA), Mango is mandated to provide the electronic
certificates for digital signature and authentication, e-Commerce, e-payment,
Internet banking and various developments of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
in the country as per the government ICT Act-2006 and ITCA Rule-2010.

10. IPV6 Implementation
• Mango has become the first IPv6 transit provider of Bangladesh on May 2011

11. MANGO Cloud Infrastructure
and Managed Services
• Mango has developed a high capacity cloud infrastructure and secure cloud
based services.
• The cloud service can deliver the Platform, Infrastructure and Software
Services as well as seamless cloud node balancers, Private and Public cloud
which are incorporated with Secured access by adopting Digital Signature
Certificates.
