GRIAL has several research lines focused on adapting content for mobile devices, developing personal learning environments (PLEs), and extending the Moodle learning management system. Projects include developing a content adaptation system called Claymobile, mobile projects for ECLAP, and applying semantic web technologies and software-as-a-service approaches to integrate new tools and define app stores for PLEs. The research aims to evolve eLearning by addressing new contexts introduced by mobile technologies and web 2.0 tools, and placing the student at the center of the learning process.
