* The students will use their reading
comprehension skills in interpreting the story
of “The Origin of Banana”.
(COGNITIVE DOMAIN)
* The students will participate in giving
answers in classroom discussion.
(AFFECTIVE DOMAIN)
* Students will create dialogues with the use
of the unlocked vocabulary words through
dramatization. (PSYCHOMOTOR DOMAIN)
III - Modelled Practice
10 MINUTES READINGACTIVITY
(THE ORIGIN OF THE BANANA)
AFTER THE ALLOTED TIME, THE TEACHER
WILL THEN DISCUSS AND ASK SOME
QUESTIONABOUT THE STORY
IV- Guided Practice
In pair, the students will identify the
meaning of the unfamiliar words with the
help of context clues.
1. The was a kingdom of green fields, clear
streams that pours along the riverbanks and
blue hills
2, Let us raise and gain enough food in our
field.
3. Let us be obedient and be compliant
4. The men burned down their cockpits that
they used as a cage for chickens
5... and the children became so good that
their parents threw away their whipping-
sticks which was used to beat them up.
The students will create their own sentences
using the given unfamiliar words
V - Independent practice
VI- Closure
The teacher will group the students and
will give a task .
Task : Emphasizing the unlocked
vocabulary words through dialogues, come-
up with a short dramatization of the story.

  • 6. II- Stated Objectives * The students will use their reading comprehension skills in interpreting the story of “The Origin of Banana”. (COGNITIVE DOMAIN) * The students will participate in giving answers in classroom discussion. (AFFECTIVE DOMAIN) * Students will create dialogues with the use of the unlocked vocabulary words through dramatization. (PSYCHOMOTOR DOMAIN)
  • 7. III - Modelled Practice 10 MINUTES READINGACTIVITY (THE ORIGIN OF THE BANANA) AFTER THE ALLOTED TIME, THE TEACHER WILL THEN DISCUSS AND ASK SOME QUESTIONABOUT THE STORY
  • 8. IV- Guided Practice In pair, the students will identify the meaning of the unfamiliar words with the help of context clues.
