LESSON PLAN




                    SHOWING THE ABILITIES
Students present a final project in which one of the goals as a teacher is to observe vocabulary
and its fluency, grammar and pronunciation also to observe the use of technologies (specially
the use of a Web quest) and the correct use of searchers.
OBJECTIVES
The students will use their English Abilities learned throughout the entire semester and with
that each student has to show through posters, videos, songs or acting with a specific topic
that is AIDS and how you can prevent it.




ACTIVITY
Pre–task - The teacher will give to each student a triptych in English with information about
AIDS so they can know a little bit more about the subject.

        TASK – The students will have to choose between making a video, song or a poster
        that will include all the information everybody should know about AIDS and how to
        prevent it. They will have to follow the info or if they have questions they can go to
        the Web quest were is all explained
        Show the final product in class and give a little explanation about how they did it and
        their conclusions and reflection about the subject, all this entirely in English.

Post-task – After the presentation in class the students will have to go outside the classroom
and if they made a poster paste it in the hallway, if they wrote a song print the letter and paste
it as well in the hallway and if they made a video print the dialogue and attach it in the hallway
all this to inform the other students.




MATERIAL:
        Use of technology ( Audio, videos, etc)
        Support Material (searcher); Google, yahoo, Etc (not Wikipedia) or just the web quest.
        Material Reusable and easy to handle like Cardboard, markers ,crayon or what you
        want to use for example: recycled materials
TIME:
The students will have 2 classes for planning and working with their task.

COMPETENCES:
At the end of this task the student will be more conscious about the AIDS and all the
consequences this disease involves; also they will be practicing more grammar related to it in
the poster making process. Finally the will have to practice their English fluency and accuracy
in the classroom presentation.




CONCLUTIONS:
        It's definitely very important in teaching practice to innovative with the tasks in the
        classroom.
        Because the principal actors in the classroom are the students and we are just the
        guides and they are the ones that have to demonstrate their skills, competences and
        learning, by developing their skills reflected in the final project.

CONCLUTIONS: It's definitely very important in teaching practice to innovative with the tasks in the classroom. Because the principal actors in the classroom are the students and we are just the guides and they are the ones that have to demonstrate their skills, competences and learning, by developing their skills reflected in the final project.
