be used to strengthen a writer s argument, which include inductive and deductive
reasoning. However, writers can accidently use fallacious reasoning, which can make

conducted face to face or in certain circumstances by telephone or over the internet in

communications skills, interpersonal skills and his or her technical experience and

Who Is The Manipulation Of Power In The Book 1984 By...
In the book, 1984, written by George Orwell, tells his story of the dictatorial party of
Airstrip One, That tries to maintain their everlasting power by the manipulation and
mind control of personal thought, individuality, opinion, and the whole timeline of
history itself. With these set goals they have brainwashed the penniless population of
Oceania into believing that their lives revolve around Big Brother and they are

Analyzing Dorothea Lange s Migrant Mother
Dorothea Lange s Migrant Mother is a photograph that documents a moment of
distress within American history. The image works as a visual representation of
suffering for those who were lucky enough not to live within the Dust Bowl region.
To many it is uncertain if Lange s image became an American Icon because of the
struggle it presented or because of the eye capturing composition of it. However, with
this image came forth the issue of a photos validity after photo manipulation, as
Lange edited the image by removing the thumb of the mother who was a large

The mother in the photograph catches the viewer s eye at first glance, straight in
center view with Lange s lens. Due to the subject focus, the mother and her
children, it is safe to declare that the mother knew the photograph was being taken
although her eyes linger away from where Lange would be standing. With her
children hiding behind her, looking down, the viewer is forced to look at their
filthy hair and disheveled appearances. By not giving Lange or her lens their direct
attention it forces those viewing the image to look at the subjects themselves and
not make eye contact with them. By doing so it is easier to notice the stressed lines

In this piece of writing I want to portray how important this film is and the incredible
ideas it shows. Room is an outstanding film that tells a heart breaking story of a
mother and son that have been held captive. As the film develops it shows how strong
their bond is and that with each other they can get through the hardest things they
would have to face. The director Lenny Abrahamson used many important aspects
such as themes, characters, events and cinematography to create such a memorable
film. This film should definitely be seen by anyone interested, as it captures

Film techniques were very important in the film room as they helped give meaning to
the film. Lenny Abrahamson used lots of close up camera shots to capture emotion
and give a better understanding on how the characters are feeling. It creates a
sense of connection and makes you feel their emotions and thoughts they are going
through. Low angle shots were used for Old Nick (Sean Bridgers) to show the
power and control he had over Ma and Jack, but Ma especially. Eye level angle
shots were used with certain characters such as Ma, to create a sense of comfort

However, Indians were exploited and apparently suffered due to other several
cruel actions of/ taken by British. Their land, house and riches were taken away in
some or the other way. Majority of people population loosed their hopes, some

The Faceless Man Throughout Junot Diaz s novel The Brief Wondrous Life of
Oscar Wao, the Man Without a Face is a recurring character with no evident features.
All of his scenes include an event in which he is either a mysterious spectator
watching the distress around himself or joins in on the torture. His appearances
throughout the story are suggestive of evil or violent incidents that are about to
occur. More times than not, the acts are performed by Trujillo s men. Almost

religion, history, and individual love are all things that have so much meaning
