Logo experimentation
B1
How did you
create your logo
• To make my logo I
used looka which is a
free logo creator which
allowed me to
experiment with
different fonts, colour
schemes and symbols
Why do you need
a logo
I need a logo as it will help make
my brand recognizable to others
it will also grab people's
attention. I will use my logo in my
work and on my business card. I
will also use it on places where I
share my media work such as my
create Britain account and my
YouTube
Research into
existing logos • After researching into existing
logos, I found that many logos are
quite small and simple this is so
people can recognize the logo.
Logos often use bright colors to
attract people towards there brand.
A good logo also uses a good font
that is easy to read.
1st and 2nd
This is the first logo that I created I liked
the simplicity of the font but I did not like
how the logo was in a circle I knew that
this was something I wanted to change
when it came to me making my second
draft.
This is the second draft of my logo I
changed the format from a circle to a
rectangle and I preferred this a lot more
as I felt like it looked a lot more
professional. However I felt like the black
and white logo did not stand out and
bring people in.
3rd and 4th
This is my 3rd draft of my logo I kept the
same format as the 2nd draft
For my 4th draft I thought that my logo would
look better with a white background I felt like
this would give it a more professional look.
5th and 6th
I felt like the white background did not
work so I added a grey background to
make my logo seem more professional. I
also changed the symbol so that people
would recognise that it is related to
media
this is the final draft of my logo I added the
red to draw attention to my logo
Feedback
• After showing the 6 drafts of
my logo to a group of people
the majority liked the 6th
draft the best.
Feedback
• After looking at the feedback
i decided that I will use my
final draft as my logo as I got
the most positive responsive
about that logo and I feel
personally that it is the most
professional looking logo.
Business cards
Research into
business cards
• Business cards often feature the company's
name and logo and slogos on the front of the
card. On the back of the business card, it has
the contact information such aa the phone
number and the location of the company.

Feedback
• After I completed the third draft of my business
card I asked people for feedback
• The majority of people who took part in my
survey liked the 3rd draft the best as they said
they liked how the colour scheme matched the
logo.
• Another comment I got was that the symbols
such as the phone symbol made the business
card look more professional and easier to
understand.
