wild living and from that he had nothing
and his friends left him. He worked in a
piggery and ate the pig’s food. Then he
thought of going back to his father’s
house.
He found his way back to his father and while he was still a long
way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for
him. Then the father ran to his son, threw his arms around him
and kissed him.
The older brother heard that his brother came back.
He was very angry. His father pleaded with him and
told him that all his wealth is his but they must rejoice
because his brother was lost but he was found again.
The older realized that their father was
right so he forgave and accepted his
brother. They lived happily ever after
again.

threw a great feast to celebrate.

he was filled with great joy.

his older son, “because it is as this brother of yours
was lost and has been found.”
