A Report On The Car
Set up
On 11/08/2016 I made a northbound turn from the far right westbound lane on Holt Blvd. I drive a
1992 faded red colored Ford Mustang. It was mid dusk at 4:30pm as this was before the time change
and nights came earlier. I was in the right turn lane 4th in a queue behind a four door Pontiac which
was behind a white U Haul type moving truck that was obstructing the view of the first vehicle. The
moving truck was the type with the high cargo hold that averages 12 feet from concrete to top of the
truck. My car has a seat height that prevented me from being able to see the lights of the intersection
until it had made its turn. I am unaware of the state of the light upon it making its turn, but I would
find out later that another officer ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

On this early evening my app alerted me to a police presence in the route I was taking. Ten users had
reported seeing officers in the area. Ten alerts for officers is an unusual amount for any of my drives
that do not have an accident warning attached. A police alert triggers extra vigilance in myself while
driving. Daily news would have me believe that officer involved shootings happen regularly and I do
not want to obstruct whatever the officers are engaging in at that moment.
At the time of this writing, within the last 12 months, fifteen people have been murdered in Pomona.
As an added context, eleven people were killed in Pomona in 2015 and fourteen in 2016. I was on my
way to my wife s parent s house in Temple City where within the same time frame only four people
have been killed. I am more observant while spending any time in Pomona. On this occasion, I was on
a higher alert because of the unusual number of reports of Peace officers in the area without an
accident shown within the app.
I will briefly explain my cautious nature. My father died seven years ago suddenly. The autopsy

Driverless Car Ethical Dilemmas
Autonomous vehicles are on the verge of drastically changing transportation. They potentially can
save millions of dollars in damages and fuel efficiency as well as countless lives. However, the
development of driverless cars pose serious ethical problems for software engineers. For instance, the
millions of people who earn their living driving trucks or cabs would lose their jobs as they get
replaced by computer programs. Another issue is transparency because the driving software needs to
be very high quality to increase safety. Company designers and researchers tend to work secretly, so
others can t steal their progress but this close mindedness closes off extra ideas and criticism. Finally,
the need for safe code delves into morality. An autonomous car will have to make life and death ...

Companies work very hard to keep their code from the public to protect their ideas but this also
protects any accidental or faulty code from the public. For example, Volkswagen designed its vehicles
to produce lower emissions when being tested, but during regular driving, vehicles produced more
emissions. This was discovered when people measured the emissions from the tail pipe without
hooking it up to a computer. This kind of conspiracy would never have worked if companies had to
disclose their data. Another benefit could be greater detection of bugs. The runaway cars of Toyota
may have been caused by erroneous code, and widespread access to it may have helped identify the
error if there was one. Of course companies shouldn t fully disclose their information, but their
engineers and researchers should strive for greater collaboration between companies and universities.
Autonomous automobiles are the future of transportation but engineers face ethical problems to its
implementation. Engineers will have to work with ethicists to design morally responsible self driving
cars and encourage participation from a wide variety of

Social Realism By Chua Mia Tee
Chua Mia Tee is one of Singapore s leading realist painter, often known for his oil paintings, which
portray Singapore s culture. Having grown up during Singapore s tumultuous years, his early paintings
reflect nationalistic concerns that occupied Singapore during our early years. More specifically, his
artist style has been called Social Realism, a school of art that responds to the industrial revolution and
urbanisation, focusing more on working class realities. Many of Singapore s social realists blended
anti colonial sentiment, nationalist aspirations and socialist concerns in various proportions in their
work.
Chua believes that realistic art helps audiences to understand and identify with the work more easily,
thus allowing the art to have more meaning and greater impact on viewers. To ... Show more content

The society that these individuals lived in had a significant impact on their education. During colonial
rule, many indigenous Malays and the majority of the non English speaking communities of Singapore
suffered various forms of oppression. The independence of Malaya was thus seen as an opportunity
for the diverse ethnic groups to break free from this. The slogan Merdeka, which means independence
in the Malay language, epitomises the rise of anti colonial and nationalist sentiments. Independence in
this context refers to the collective Malayan states and Singapore. Despite being under colonial rule
for a significant period of time, a strong society existed. There was a strong notion that the three main
ethnic groups of Singapore would come together to build a nation state together. Posters could be seen
everywhere promoting the study of the national language Malay. English was not accepted by the
masses back in the past, as they perceived it as the language of the colony. Malay in essence, was as a

Similarities and differences between a manager, a business owner and an entrepreneur By Henry
Amm
Introduction
The public perception of entrepreneurs today is almost legendary. They seem to seamlessly start up
small businesses and make them grow and develop themselves almost overnight to big successes.
(Beaver, 2005) This essay will briefly cover the differences and similarities between managers,
business owners and entrepreneurs.

Therefore he often runs a lifestyle firm that is based on trade or craft which, however, will not grow to
any considerable size. The entrepreneur in turn is opportunistic, innovative, self confident and acts
proactive and decisive. He is highly self motivated by his vision and is therefore willing to take even
greater risks and can live with a high uncertainty. That is why the entrepreneur has a growth firm and
is pursuing growth and personal wealth. Lastly the manager is administrating, or in other words
managing, an entity that does not belong to him. His purpose is to build up the organisation, by means
that are similar to larger firms. (Burns, 2007) However there are some exceptions from that
generalization: An owner manager of course can have a growing business, while an entrepreneur could
manage a business he owns together with a business associate and therefore has not complete control
over the capital. (Burns, 2007) As Fraja (1996) suggests every firm can be assigned to either one of
the following types: Either it is an entrepreneurial firm, where the owner manager or entrepreneur is in
exclusive control, organizes production, borrows funds and retains any residual returns from his work.
Or it is a managerial firm, where the individual that has the right to residual returns remains outside
the company and the individual that has the

Christian Apologetics Essay
Apologetics are arguments backed up with evidence to defend Christianity against false accusations
and to strengthen the faith of the faithful. (http://www.bethinking.org/apologetics/an introduction to
christian apologetics, 2011). They also remove obstacles by appealing to intellectual reasoning to non
believers.
The doctrine of Christ s divinity has been challenged, attacked and denied by religious skeptics and
various world religions alike. Apologetics have been used to defend and establish the credibility of the
historic Christian faith. Atheists have been relentless in their attack of the Divinity of The Lord Jesus
Christ. Apologetics are used in these instances to confront false ideas with the truth set forth in
scripture. To be a Christian ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Theologians have used the biblical evidence to coin the term hypostatic union to accurately capture
both the fully divine and fully human nature of Jesus joined in one Person. Proof of Christ s divinity is
shown throughout the Bible many times. Malachi 3:1 3, John 1:1, John 8:58, Colossians 1:19,
Hebrews 1:1 5, and Revelation 1:1 are just a few of the prominent passages that authenticate the deity
of Jesus Christ. In the book Fundamentals of the Faith, Peter Kreeft says another tool for properly
utilizing apologetics are creeds. Creeds are a formal statement of Christian beliefs. He also argues that
the creeds specify our destiny as well as the nature of God because God is our destiny. Creeds were
created by the church to objectify the truth as in the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and the
Apostles Creed. The Apostles Creed speaks about the Trinity. The doctrine of the Trinity means that
there is one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Stated
differently, God is one in essence and three in person. These definitions express three

Similarities Between Christianity And Christianity
The book of Genesis chapter 17 verses 20 and 21 in the Holy Bible state My covenant I will establish
with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year. When he had finished speaking with
Abraham, God went up from him . This covenant between God and Abraham would plant the seeds of
Judaism and Christianity; it prophesized a great nation who would be the descendants of Abraham and
Isaac This nation of people would be called the Jews, and with the crucifixion of Jesus this nation
would become fractured into Jews and Christians. This would lead to cause contention and religions
confusion for thousands of years Judaism and Christianity are both monotheistic religions that have
similar core values and principles; however despite these similarities there are differences in practice
and traditions that have caused ethnic and religious conflicts that often overshadows their connection.
Historical events such as the expulsion of Jews due to religious persecution in European countries like
England, France, and Spain in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries set the stage for the greatest example
of ethnic cleansing in human history, the Holocaust. The systematic death of millions of European
Jews by European Christians is by far the greatest example of how these small traditional and
interpretive differences in these two religions have had drastic consequences. Consequences like this
can be avoided through research and understanding of Judaism and Christianity

The religion of Islam is the second largest belief system in the world with over one billion believers.
As of 2009, almost one quarter of the world s population follow after Islam, second only to
Christianity. But roughly 15 centuries ago, this was not true at all concerning Islam. The populations
that now embrace Islam have roots in a polytheistic society where Islam did not yet exist. Christianity
was clearly the dominant religion of that time period and the wide influence of the Byzantine Empire
ensured the continued influence of the Church. Some ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During the time of the 7th century, Christianity was largely split into two main groups Orthodoxy and
Catholicism. These two counterparts of Christianity often times were at odds because of discrepancies
over where the true source of Church authority actually resided within the Byzantine Empire. As a
result, Christian fringe groups in countries such as Egypt or Palestine would be easily labeled as
heretics and would find themselves disassociated from the Church. When the Arab conquest claimed
these lands, they tended to show more tolerance for non Muslims in exchange for good citizenship
within the new Islamic environment. Also, Islam was fresh and hadn t begun to suffer from its own
power struggles from within the belief system. As Shenk writes, One wonders what parallels to
Muslim Spain might be found in the rise of an Islamic presence in the heart of the European Balkans.
Bosnia s capital Sarajevo adds the intrigue of its location along the historic fault line between the two
major branches of the Christian heritage in the region, Orthodox and Catholic. In any number of
centuries since the arrival of Slavic peoples in migrations dating from the sixth and seventh centuries
(C.E.), recruitment efforts based both in Rome and in Constantinople (Istanbul today) were zealous to
secure the allegiance of the newly arriving tribes for

The Wiggles as a Popular Culture Essay
The Wiggles are a children s music and entertainment group consisting of four members who formed
in Sydney in 1991. The original members were Anthony Field, Murray Cook, Greg Page and Jeff Fatt.
Before the formation of the group, Field and Fatt were members of the Australian pop band The
Cockroaches with Page being a roadie, and met Cook at Macquarie University where they were
studying to become pre school teachers. Together, they formed The Wiggles. Using connections
gained from The Cockroaches, The Wiggles first manager Jeremy Fabinyi negotiated with the ABC to

as The Wiggles being viewed in a positive manner by consumers and members of society because of
this influence on children.
The Wiggles are so successful because of their positive influence on children s lives and the
satisfaction that adults receive from being aware of the educational value behind the program. This
can be obviously demonstrated through the long running creative programs aired on television with
such popularity that The Wiggles have become known around the world. This has made them an
international franchise and allowed the company to expand into other associated products and
programs such as live performance shows and recorded albums.
The products of this popular culture are aimed at a specific target market. Primary consumers of The
Wiggles are young children but the major purchasers of associated products and paraphernalia are the
children s parents and adults.
There is no divide in the consumption of this popular culture s associated products in relation to
gender, although the group previously consisted of four males, as well as many of the associated
characters being male. This recently changed in 2012 when a female Wiggle was introduced, creating
a more female friendly show, which may appeal to young girls more so than before, therefore giving

Sales Promotion Tools Are The Lifeblood Of Marketing Products
Sales promotion tools are the lifeblood of marketing products/services to consumers. Without them,
people would not be as likely to purchase every new fad that comes their way, and corporations would
be wasting their money on products people were nervous to buy. For example, if you were used to
using one particular type of cat food because you know your cat enjoys eating it, how likely would
you be to switch the food? Probably not very likely, due to the fact that you had already looked at the
nutrition facts, the price, and the seafood taste that cats are sure to love. Now, what if you received a
ten dollar off coupon (for cat food that only costs twelve dollars). What would you do? Would you
reconsider the food you were going to buy that week because of this coupon? Maybe the new food is
just as good now that you are really thinking about it, and it only is going to cost a total of two dollars,
so no harm done if you go ahead and make the purchase. This is exactly what a good sales promotion
does to consumers, it makes them take a second look at their buying choices, and hopefully convinces
them that it would be a good idea to try their product. I live in the United States, and the three most
heavily used sales promotions are contests, loyalty programs, and sponsorships. Who doesn t love a
chance to win something free I know I do! Contests give you a chance to win a product that you
would like to have, but possibly cannot afford, or you just like the idea of

There are two ways a company can down size the labor costs, one of these is down scaling the direct

The Reasons For Becoming Vegetarian
When asked what being vegetarian meant to me in the past, my thoughts depicted leaf eating hippies
protesting for PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals). Over the years I ve become more open
minded, and increased my education on the definition of a true vegetarian. A vegetarian is defined as
an individual who excludes meat and sometimes other animal products from their everyday diet. The
reasons for becoming vegetarian vary. Reasons may be health, moral, or environmentally related.
Some may choose to adopt the diet later in life; others may be born into it and carry it on throughout
their lifetime. I consider my own diet semi or flexitarian, meaning I choose to limit my meat
consumption to four or less times a week. My decision is based on the healthier eating aspect and my
own care for animals. The reason I chose this topic was to increase my knowledge of the healthy
lifestyle I call my own, and hopefully influence others to limit their meat consumption as well. I
believe a more plant based diet would benefit everyone s well being, generally promote a healthier
lifestyle, and reduce the amount of animals being raised and slaughtered. Vegetarianism is not a newly
developed concept; the plant based way of eating has been around a very long time.
Reasons For and Against Vegetarianism: Why a vegetarian diet is superior

and moral aspects, as well as discuss the

MOM Up Review
MOM UP is a delightful broad comedy. The concept for MOM UP is a lot of fun and delivers a strong,
eccentric, and very colorful protagonist in Roxy Holliday. Even her name is fun.
The goal is clear and the stakes are personal. The script is driven by themes about growing up,
learning to move forward, and appreciating who you are.
There s no doubt that the highlight of this script is Roxy. She s amusing to watch. She s clearly flawed,
controlling and reckless, but there s something very charming about her. She really has a good heart,
but she makes the wrong decisions for the right reasons.
As much as one really adores Roxy, the script would benefit from more development. It s the structure
and pace that are worthy of discussion.
Basically, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One has to understand a bit better what her life was like growing up with Roxy. She needs to learn to
appreciate Roxy s eccentric, free spirit behavior. Amanda works well as the uptight woman and at the
end make sure she learns to be a bit more reckless, as Roxy becomes more mature. As mentioned,
however, the relationship between her and Bo isn t well understood.
Right now, none of the supporting characters standout, with the exception of Kiley. She s likable and
she has the opportunity to even verbalize some wisdom to Roxy. However, there s really no need for
both Kiley and Alex. They have similar type roles, so consider combining.
Richard doesn t feel essential or understood. Ernesto never really engages. Rusty has strong potential,
but feels underused.
The dialogue is sharp and reveals information about the characters. Roxy s voice is very consistent
with her personality. Amanda s voice sounds uptight, which is also congruent with her personality.
There s nice subtext we all eventually become our mother. Make sure to pay this off.
The script is professionally presented. However, be careful in the narrative of asking too many

no need to repeat BFF. On page 33 there s a small typo Oxy vs. Roxy and on page 45 about getting the

Recreation Management And Therapeutic Recreation
Every year new students entering into the School of Health and Human Performance in the programs
of Recreation Management and Therapeutic Recreation take part in a two day orientation. This
orientation helps students gain a better understanding of recreation, learn about their programs, and
create bonds with fellow classmates. Throughout the weekend this year, students were able to create
memories with classmates whom they will be studying alongside over the course of their education.
The orientation weekend served many different purposes for the students in both Recreation
Management and Therapeutic Recreation. The first purpose of the retreat was to help students gain a
better understanding of recreation. Many people, including myself before this orientation, believe that
recreation is solely sports. However, that fact is far from true as recreation encompasses many
different aspects such as art, music, photography, knitting, and running. Once students understood the
different aspects of recreation they were able to learn more about their programs. This was done
through having older students interact with new students, and by having professionals speak to the
new students. The professionals were in both the Recreation Management and Therapeutic Recreation
fields. Since my program of study is Recreation Management, I got to hear all about that field. In the
speeches I learned how to get involved in recreation early on, how important managing recreation is,

gives it to the elves. While all of that is going on the goblins are on their way and war starts to begin.
At the cost of greed Thorin dies, but not in vain. In the end Bilbo goes home back to his sweet little
Hobbit hole and is overall a new man. Throughout the book there are many important details, such as
important symbols, one of them being Sting the sword Bilbo named after he killed the giant spider. To
add on, another important detail is the conflicts that Bilbo went through, and how the dwarves never
listened to Gandalf which always became a serious problem. In addition, there are many motifs, one of
those are how Bilbo always drifts away into thinking about his lovely hobbit hole. Most importantly is
the characters that are represented throughout the novel, one of them is how Gandalf is a clear
representation of God and how he brings Bilbo on a journey to fulfill his destiny. In addition, there is a
major theme set in The Hobbit and that theme would be Bilbo becoming a hero. There is also an ego,
super ego, and Id. The superego being Gandalf, the Id being Thorin, and the ego being Bilbo. Overall,
there are many literary elements throughout the whole

Dating Vs Technology
In the world of today, two words that constantly come up are change and improvement. These two
words directly tie into the widespread, worldwide use of technology. Everything we do involves
technology. And we are always looking for ways to change it to improve something in our lives. We
are always striving to make things faster, easier, more efficient. But what you need to ask yourself is
this: Are these improvements in technology actually helping me? Are they really making my life any
easier? These are questions I asked as I strove to find out why, in a world centered around
improvements, relationships are falling apart, and in such high quantities.
In conducting research it was becoming apparent that there were two, somewhat distinct, ... Show

These mediums are most commonly used because they provide an endless amount of opportunities for
any individual. The basic set up of dating websites is you enter information about yourself and what
you are looking for in a partner and then begin surfing the website for a soulmate. According to
Jonathan Pitts article on: Online Dating Advantages, online dating is not only becoming a normal part
of the dating scheme, its also very convenient. He explains it in with one particular scenario: After all
you couldn t go into a nightclub or a bar, ask all the people to line up and then split them into several
categories judged on personality, body type, hair color, hobbies and interests and even salary
range...but you can online... Another advantage that Pitts mentioned was the fact that using social
media is that it is safer so that you are able to tell what the person really likes and how they will really
react to different things.
Using social media and dating websites for relationships very often leads to the sending of intimate
photographs to other people s phones, called sexting. This process has positive impacts on
relationships because it is said to add an extra spark to an already occurring relationship, as well as
making long distance relationships more bearable, just to name a few. (How is Technology Shaping

The Role Of Sexism In Advertising
Advertisements from the early 1900s to today s marketing propaganda have changed dramatically in
terms of picture and context through the years. Some similarities still remain through the evolution of
marketing merchandise, but many differences can be seen in more recent ads. The Palmolive soap
company s advertisements from the 1900s exemplify the issue of sexism that took place in that time
period. The ads primarily focus on the youth and beauty of women and how it appeals to men. The
advertisement creators target the insecurities of women and threaten the achievement of being loved
by a man. Women are made to believe that their intelligence does not contribute to a man s affection,
but only beauty will grant a woman the gift of eternal love ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Creators focus mainly on the appearance of the ads rather than presenting a contextual argument.
Advertisement agencies have almost completely dropped phrases and text on their ads and solely rely
on the quality of the picture to present their case. Coloration, symbolism, and other visual cues are
emphasized in today s ads to catch the audience s attention. Whereas the older ads depended almost
entirely on presenting their product through bombarding the endorsement with paragraphs of text. The
advancement of technology brings new ways to access more eye catching coloration and a better
quality of picture. Many people are more attracted to a brightly colored, provocative image rather than
a page full of bland text which can be seen as a reason to completely rely on picture

Similarities Between Tunisia And Egypt
Five years after the arab revolutions began, we can observe many differences as well as similarities
between Tunisia and Egypt. Tunisia was the first country that started the revolts, and since then has
had many successes, including the adoption of a constitution. Despite many of the setbacks,
interruptions, and serious crises Tunisia has been through these past few years, as long as they do not
have any more upheavals of power, the evidence seems to prove they can transform their government
into a more stable democracy. In contrast, Egypt also attempted to become democratic, but soon after
reverted back to an authoritarian and oppressive regime that has become increasingly more
militaristic, and at the moment it seems that a new attempt of becoming democratic is unlikely to start
unless people decide on gathering again and participating in other uprisings. In order to understand
why these two countries moved in such opposite directions, the causes of the riots, external pressures,
religious influences, civil rights political liberties and current problems. To begin, the author Larry
Diamond described democracy as a universal institution among all cultures. Diamond believed
democracy was not just a Western ideal, but in fact could be implemented into every culture in the
world under the correct circumstances. One of the most important circumstances needed to be in place
in order for democracy to thrive is the spirit of democracy, essentially stating that the will of the

Degree In Nursing
Nurses need many different job skills in order to succeed within this profession. Attention to detail is
important due to the fact that he or she will help doctors operate, administer medication, and work
with treatments that could be crucial to the individual. Another job skill is the need to be calm under
pressure. Nurses are faced with many emergencies such as life or death situations where they will
need to exhibit compassion to the pain and trauma of the individual (Bratcher, 2015). These
professionals work with a range of patients, from those who are healthy (and are proactively trying to
stay that way), to those who are pregnant and bringing new life, to those who are nearing the end of
life and hoping for a peaceful death. Registered nurses must have one of the following degrees in
order to be qualified in this field. One must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, an Associate
Degree in Nursing, or have graduated from an entry level accredited Master of Science nursing
program. A Bachelor s Degree requires the most education. It requires at least four, but no more than

Manipulation Of Brutus In Shakespeare s Julius Caesar
I would have to agree with Antony in saying that Brutus was the noblest Roman of them all. Not only
is he smart but he only conspired against Caesar for the sake of Rome. He believes that Caesar was
not a good leader and had too big of an ego. Other characters acted out of their own selfish reasons
like greed and their want for power. Brutus truly loves his country and is devoted to it and it s people
but this strong devotion may also be his weakness.
Since Brutus is so devoted to Rome this allows him to be easily manipulated Cassius to use that to
manipulate Brutus ad convince him to conspire against Caesar. At first, In act one, Cassius tells Brutus
that Caesar is no better than him and that Brutus ancestors even helped found Rome. Later in the act
he tricks Brutus by sending him the various letters. Cassius sent letters to Brutus, all in different hand

The On People s Daily Lives
Kokusaku kamishibai emphasis more on people s daily lives. They were formerly categorized as
educational kamishibai, but later emphasized more on the promotion of government policies (Horner,
23). Typical themes of kokusaku kamishibai would be promoting thrift during wartime, encouraging
people to go to the hospital to visit the wounded soldiers, reminding people to keep healthy so that
they could contribute more to the nation, glorifying Japan and its emperor, stressing the honorable
legends of the Japanese nation, and instilling the Bushido, or the way of the warriors (Horner, 23) For
example, kamishibai Bokura no chikai ( Our Promise ) and O rusuban ( Home Alone ) depict how
children should behave when they are left alone by their parents. Children were encouraged either
help with their mothers housework or talking about their fathers who were at the war in an aspiring
tone (Horner, 23). Considering the main viewership of kamishibai consists of young children,
Japanese government employed kokusaku kamishibai to instruct the young generation how they
should behave everyday and remind them of the characters they had to play in regard of the prosperity
of the Great Imperial of Japan. This kind of kamishibai is very much similar to the moral education,
but they ultimately have characteristic of wartime propaganda because the issues related to the war

Similarities Between Science And Science
introduction Religion and Science are very compatible; they both provide knowledge and
understanding of human nature and the world in which humankind live. Galileo According to Galileo,
there are two kinds of truth. One is the truth acquires through intellects, experience, and vital
evidence. The second is the truth acquired through bible teachings. The bible is meant to explain
topics that are beyond human reasoning, things that cannot be proven by science. Accordingly,
religious truth is strongly based on faith; it depends on the teachings of a divine being and not on
evidence. Science, on the other hand, contributes knowledge on things that cannot be literally
explained by the Bible; every statement made in science must be proven with facts. Nonetheless, these
different truths ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When used in conjunction, science and religion contribute knowledge that allows people to seal the
gaps that may exist in each other s theories. They complete each other. They are both guides that make

conclusion, religion is compatible with science because they are both sources of knowledge and
understanding to humankind. They give people, the answers to common questions about existence.
The bible allows human beings to gain knowledge in a humble way by establishing a higher power as
the source of all knowledge. Science, however, allows human beings to make their own discoveries,
using the gifts given to them by the Higher power, to gain knowledge. While religion teaches human
beings that some knowledge cannot be proven, science gives them the tools needed to gain evidence
of the things that can. Science and religion, when well interpreted, support each other. They complete
each other theories by filling each other s gap. For example, God can be inserted into science big bang

Human Development Index
The critical difference between most development models and the human development index is that
most development models only focus on income while the human development index includes the
enlargement of all human choices economic, political, social and cultural which all affect income.
Comparing countries Gross National Product/Gross Domestic Product per capita is the most common
way of measuring the level of development today. This model of economic growth assessment is
based on a weak foundation that is not sustainable over a long term economically, ethnically and
politically. Higher per capita income in a country does not necessarily mean that the country s
inhabitants are better off than those in a country with a lower income per capita. Along with many
other measures of development, these various indicators do no capture many aspects of human well
being. Sometimes, a country with a high level of national income records a significantly high
percentage proportion deemed to be in poverty, illiterate, in poor health, with no access to a clean
water supply and sanitation, and thus limited a huge disparity is observed, based on gender inequality,
ethnicity and income.
The Human Development Index (HDI) is a compilation statistics of mean schooling years, life
expectancy and income recorded then used to rank countries into four tiers of human development.
The ranking illustrates how capable a country is. The changing of prices throughout the economy due
to inflation may

Visible light is an extremely small proportion of the entire range of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Visible light ranges from 390nm to 780nm. The theoretical wavelength of the laser was 633nm,
indicating a light red. The experimental wavelength calculated from the experiment was 617nm,
implying that it is dark orange. The laser used in the experiment emitted a light red color, thus

This error may have potentially reduced the accuracy and precision of the measurements taken. Eyes
facing perfectly perpendicular to the ruler can minimize the effect of this error. Parallax error is not

Systematic errors (ordered from most impactful to least impactful): Incorrect alignment of laser.
Experiment being conducted in bright space.
The laser and the double slit may not have been correctly aligned in a straight line that is perfectly
perpendicular to the screen. This would also mean that the slits might not have been perfectly
perpendicular to the laser. These factors would have caused the interference patter on the screen to be
incorrect. Also, if the laser at an angel other than 90°, L would be a different value.
This experiment was conducted in a bright space. This caused disadvantages when copying the
interference pattern on paper due to the blurriness of the boundaries. This error would decrease the
accuracy of the experiment. This error could be reduced if the experiment were to be performed in
darker conditions, allowing for the bright bands to be more distinct on the interference pattern,
allowing for more accurate

This essay will explore how healthcare policy influences interproferssional working in the healthcare
sector. I will reflect upon a practice based situation related to a service user and discuss how this is
linked to the policy Our health, our care, our say (Department of Health, 2006). I will also provide a
self assessment of my current level of development using the Interprofessional Capability Framework.
Our health, our care, our say is a policy published by the Department of Health in 2006 which aims to
provide a more effective health and social care service in the community outside of hospital. It s main
aims are to improve community based care, enable health independence and well being, provide better
access to general practice and community services, and greater support for people with long term
health conditions. It sets out the government s vision for high quality support meeting people s
aspirations for independence and greater control over their lives, making service flexible and
responsive to individual needs. This policy really highlights the need for an improved, person centred
healthcare service in the community, bringing together different interprofessional teams to provide
quality care for the service user. The practice based situation I will discuss revolves around Mary, a
single mother of two young children. Mary was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a left

intriguing part of this story is when he tempts humans into eating from the tree of knowledge. This

Breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in the US for women
(http://www.breastcancer.org/symptoms/understand_bc/statistics). Even though the diagnosis and
treatment of this condition has improved dynamically over the past few decades, it is still one of the

Around 25 30% of the total breast cancer patients are diagnosed with HER2 gene amplification
(Vogel, Charles L., et al, 2002). Patients with HER2 gene overexpression also produces a higher level
of protein therefore, the patients with this condition are susceptible to decreased disease free and
shorter overall survival rate(Vogel, Charles L., et al, 2002). The non targeted cytotoxic chemotherapy
has been used as a standard treatment of this condition. However, there are several side effects for
these non targeted therapies; such as vomiting, nausea, headache, fatigue, diarrhea, dizziness, anemia,
thrombocytopenia, leukemia, anxiety, depression, anorexia and so on(O Shaughnessy, Joyce, et al,
2011). Therefore, a lot of patients are unable to use cytotoxic chemotherapy as a standard treatment. It
is necessary to have a safe treatment that can serve the unmet purpose of these patients.
Trastuzumab is a monoclonal antibody that recognizes the p185 site of HER2 (Vogel, Charles L., et al,
2002). As this is a humanized antibody, it reduces the chances of immunological response in the
human body that may occur if a murine antibody was used. At the same time, this humanized
monoclonal antibody initiates the maximum recruitment of patients endogenous immune system to

Functional Approaches To Iron Man
1. In relation to the functional approaches to persuasion, this advertisement utilizes symbolic functions
of attitude. The slogan The sneaker makes the man, which implies masculinity and style, and the
connection to Iron Man, a character who represents many men s dreams of style, money, and sex
appeal, are both symbols that work to represent the shoe and the positive consequences the buyer
would see after a purchase. They help to persuade the buyer of the manliness of the product, and the
status that would come with owning it. This appeal to manliness also connects the advertisement to the
ego defensive functions of attitude, and appeals to these men s need to defend their masculine self
image.
Though shoes are multi functional objects, the advertisers have chosen to appeal to high self monitors
through this symbolic imagery. Though the specific monitoring of the audience is unknown, Nike
shoes often appeal to those who are high self monitors, as buyers are willing to pay a high price to
obtain the brand recognition and high status that accompanies the purchase of the Nike brand. The
advertisers should choose to print this advertisement in media that focuses on a man s self image, such
as a men s fashion magazine.
The advertisement also connects to balance theory by using the celebrity endorsement of Iron Man.
This form of persuasion works with buyers who have a positive liking relationship with Iron Man, and
perceive that the character, or the company behind the character, has a positive liking relationship with
the shoe. To keep their attitudes in balance, the buyer will then also have a positive liking relationship
toward the shoe.
Though it is an advertising context, the persuader has chosen not to offer any counter arguments or
refutations, and has kept the message one sided. This could be because the Nike brand does not feel as
if it needs to enhance its credibility with a two sided argument, as Nike is already a credible source on
self image management through its long standing success of managing a brand that represents style,
wealth, and high status.
2. This advertisement is best suited to buyers who hold attitudes with instrumental functions because it
attempts to persuade using

How Normal Has Changed Since September 11 Essay
The terrorist attacks on September 11th affected more than the lives of those in the targeted cities.
Nearly every American has felt the rippling effect in both subtle and obvious ways. Everything from
what people are eating to the toys that are in demand has been altered because people s perceptions
have changed. Though this country has always been considered a patriotic nation, its true colors had
not shown in recent history until this tragedy. Now it is apparent that its colors are red, white, and
blue. Despite the many negative aspects of the terrorist attacks, some of the changes that have
happened in America have been for the better. How ironic for our enemies it would be if their acts
meant for evil resulted in an overall ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Since all change, whether positive or negative, is stress, many families are having a difficult time
adjusting. However, after the kinks are ironed out, most family members are enjoying the time
together. Cathy Hansell, a mother who has not had to do traveling for her job recently, comments that
it was one of the best things that has ever happened. Her husband is also at home more, traveling 50%
less for his work, and in result, their family is experiencing much less stress than before (Guzman and
Higgins 8). The terrorist attacks instilled a fear of traveling in Americans, but brought families back
together in many ways. During these frightening times, parents have been much more likely to speak
to their kids and be a comfort to them. Where there is communication, bonding can begin.
Fear has also influenced people in unexpected ways. As one example, fantasy book series that deal
with frightening topics such as Harry Potter and A Series of Unfortunate Events (by Lemony Snicket)
have been on the rise in recent months. They already had great momentum before September 11th, but
many people believe that they have become more important to children since the attacks. Snicket (who
s real name is Daniel Handler) suggests that children are turning to his books because traditional
books say that everything will turn out all right if you behave. But as a young child, you see your own

Rising College Tuition
Tuition on the Rise: A Cause of Turmoil Today colleges are growing more and more necessary for
attaining a solid path towards a successful career, yet the rapidly increasing cost of tuition is driving
students away from their dream of attending college, due to the preposterous amount of money that is
now being demanded by colleges across the nation and world as a whole. It is sad to see students
being turned away from a successful future due to the money hungry nature of the universities that dot
the globe. More and more impossible it is becoming to have a rags to riches scenario that used to
highlight the American Dream, as if a student doesn t have the riches to afford a higher education and
the tuition that is drug upon its coattails, then our society is doomed to be clothed in rags forever,
unless major changes are brought about to restructure and end the indefatigable growth of tuition rates
across the board. The tuition increases have come in response to the lack of federal funding to
universities, leading them to find their own way to provide for their upkeep. Recent increases in
university tuition fees are part of a new entrepreneurial trend in higher education in which institutions
are expected to generate more of their own revenue (Quirke). The universities have decided that since
they can no longer look towards federal funds to fuel their costs of maintenance and revenue, they
must find a new route towards attaining much needed funds, and they have chosen to

Proposed Network Solution for Worldwide Advertising, Inc....
At the core of any successful business is a functioning, well organized network. The design of that
network can be a daunting task for even the most skilled of Information Technology and Networking
Professionals. To make that task more manageable it s easier to divide it up into the key components
needed to implement a successful network design. In this proposal we will go through those key areas
and understand the needs of Worldwide Advertising Inc. and some of the suggested solutions specific
to the organization. Deployment and Server Editions Server Editions WAI is a relatively small sized
company in regards to IT needs and specifically when it comes to determining the Windows Server
2012 edition that is appropriate. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Beyond that server roles include things like managing the company email and website, print services,
backups and Active Directory. Each of our locations will have a physical presence so determining the
best roles to deploy at each location will take some careful consideration. Server roles are the things a
particular server does like Files Services, Email Services, or Active Directory. Most of the critical
roles will need to be installed on the equipment at the main office in Los Angeles but since we have a
functioning office in New York some server roles might need to be replicated at that location to
provide functionality for the network. Server Locations Although the company could operate normally
with all of the physical server equipment being located in one of the two locations based on the budget
we would recommend having some equipment at both locations. The Los Angeles is clearly the
primary location as most of the staff including IT will be located there but by having some redundancy
at the New York location we could provide a much higher level of availability. This means that an
outage or breach of security at the Los Angeles location could be minimized since we could transition
to the New York equipment as the primary. These redundancies are extremely critical in our line of
work. We can t afford to lose creative data that could take weeks

Chronic Chest Pain Research Paper
Chronic chest pain CAD is something that many people may experience at one point in life. Chest
pain may have stem from certain things; the most common is CAD. CAD or Coronary artery disease
is when the major blood vessels of the heart become hardened or narrowed with damage or disease,
like plaque or cholesterol containing deposits. As the wall is damaged plaque and other materials
begin to accumulate in that damaged area; as plaque breaks away the platelets will try to repair the
site, causing a blockage or narrowing of the artery.
When blood flow to the heart begins to decrease, the heart is deprived of oxygen rich blood. This may
end up causing chest pain/angina; it may simulate the feeling of an elephant standing on the patient s
chest. Chest pain can range from a dull ache, a crushing or burning feeling, or a sharp stabbing pain;
this pain may radiate down the neck or shoulder. CAD is thought to begin as early as childhood, some
contributing risk factors may include: smoking, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes or
insulin resistance, sedentary lifestyle, and genetic disposition. ... Show more content on

My Definition Of An Everyday Hero By Joseph Campbell
Everyone has someone they look up to and want to be just like one day and everyone has different
opinions and who a true hero is. According to, Joseph Campbell he defines the characteristics of a
hero as someone who has a thousand faces. That a hero has a certain sequence of actions in order to be
considered a hero. A hero is someone who has found, achieved or done something beyond the normal
range of achievement and/or experiment. Someone who has given it s life to something bigger than
itself or other than themselves. Campbell also stated that there are deeds for a everyday hero, which is
a hero who has performed a war act or physical act of heroism. Someone who is giving themselves or

Race Horse Research Paper
The first motion picture that is considered as the first editing is the Race Horse created by Eadweard
Muybridge in 1878. This was created by arranging twelve cameras along a track at Stanford s estate
and as a horse sped by, it tripped wires connected to the cameras, which took several photos in a fast
succession. When the pictures were developed in the frames and put together it created an illusion of
motion. But Muybridge did not stop there, he kept taking hundreds of photographs of people and
animals in motion and displayed them in lectures and also invented a device to display them in called
zoopraxiscope . The zoopraxiscope projected those images rapidly in sequence onto a screen and once
you spin it, it produces the illusion of motion.

Descriptive Essay Volcano
Allie Koza
Professor Baer
English
17 October 2017 Descriptive Essay The word volcano comes from the little island of vulcano in the
Mediterranean Sea, these fire fountains can reach hundreds of feet into the sky (Lindop). Early
Romans believed this mountain belonged to vulcan, the blacksmith of the gods. Within the last twenty
years, a volcanologists have been working hard to learn how to predict eruptions and keep people safe.
Ash plumes and steam rose into the bright blue sky as the underground earthquake shook the land and
rattled windows all across the eighteen mile town. As the jet circled the island, in view of lovely
beaches and emerald water, looming over this lush paradise was the screaming volcano. Volcanos
erupt when the pressure inside of them becomes so great that the magma surges up and forces its way
out. An exploding volcano can rip apart a mountain in just seconds, when the eruption is over, a
landscape is changed forever. The united states is home to more volcanos than any other country
except Indonesia, and Japan. The majority of these volcanoes are in Alaska. Until recently, there was
no way to predict when a volcano would blow, although volcanoes give off many warning signs
before they erupt. Including smaller earthquakes beneath the volcano, slight inflation, or swelling. The
rising magma eventually causes the solid rock to break, sending earthquake signals. Most volcanoes
give warning signs beginning weeks or months before they blow (Lindop). Lumps of Lava cool into
solid rocks as they fly through the sky, forming rounded chunks that can be also known as bombs,
while pieces with corners and sharp edges are named blocks. Both bombs and blocks can cause a great
deal of damage. As the volcano begins to burst, the sky fills with choking, smoky powder, while it
starts raining lava, and rock. The air warmed quicker than when you pour kerosene on a fire, with a
sound so loud it circled the earth four times, red hot lava flows down the side of the volcano and
magma spews out the top. The only taste in my mouth is the smoke coming from the lava, as the gas
in the air turned all my silver jewelry black. I feel very frightened knowing this is such a normal thing
to happen in different

They potentially can save millions of dollars in damages and fuel efficiency as well as countless lives. However, the development of driverless cars pose serious ethical problems for software engineers. For instance, the millions of people who earn their living driving trucks or cabs would lose their jobs as they get replaced by computer programs. Another issue is transparency because the driving software needs to be very high quality to increase safety. Company designers and researchers tend to work secretly, so others can t steal their progress but this close mindedness closes off extra ideas and criticism. Finally, the need for safe code delves into morality. An autonomous car will have to make life and death ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Companies work very hard to keep their code from the public to protect their ideas but this also protects any accidental or faulty code from the public. For example, Volkswagen designed its vehicles to produce lower emissions when being tested, but during regular driving, vehicles produced more emissions. This was discovered when people measured the emissions from the tail pipe without hooking it up to a computer. This kind of conspiracy would never have worked if companies had to disclose their data. Another benefit could be greater detection of bugs. The runaway cars of Toyota may have been caused by erroneous code, and widespread access to it may have helped identify the error if there was one. Of course companies shouldn t fully disclose their information, but their engineers and researchers should strive for greater collaboration between companies and universities. Having grown up during Singapore s tumultuous years, his early paintings reflect nationalistic concerns that occupied Singapore during our early years. More specifically, his artist style has been called Social Realism, a school of art that responds to the industrial revolution and urbanisation, focusing more on working class realities. Many of Singapore s social realists blended anti colonial sentiment, nationalist aspirations and socialist concerns in various proportions in their work. During colonial rule, many indigenous Malays and the majority of the non English speaking communities of Singapore suffered various forms of oppression. The independence of Malaya was thus seen as an opportunity for the diverse ethnic groups to break free from this. The slogan Merdeka, which means independence in the Malay language, epitomises the rise of anti colonial and nationalist sentiments. Independence in this context refers to the collective Malayan states and Singapore. Despite being under colonial rule for a significant period of time, a strong society existed. There was a strong notion that the three main ethnic groups of Singapore would come together to build a nation state together. Posters could be seen everywhere promoting the study of the national language Malay. English was not accepted by the masses back in the past, as they perceived it as the language of the colony. The entrepreneur in turn is opportunistic, innovative, self confident and acts proactive and decisive. That is why the entrepreneur has a growth firm and is pursuing growth and personal wealth. Lastly the manager is administrating, or in other words managing, an entity that does not belong to him. His purpose is to build up the organisation, by means that are similar to larger firms. (Burns, 2007) However there are some exceptions from that generalization: An owner manager of course can have a growing business, while an entrepreneur could manage a business he owns together with a business associate and therefore has not complete control over the capital. (http://www.bethinking.org/apologetics/an introduction to christian apologetics, 2011). They also remove obstacles by appealing to intellectual reasoning to non believers. The doctrine of Christ s divinity has been challenged, attacked and denied by religious skeptics and various world religions alike. Theologians have used the biblical evidence to coin the term hypostatic union to accurately capture both the fully divine and fully human nature of Jesus joined in one Person. Proof of Christ s divinity is shown throughout the Bible many times. Malachi 3:1 3, John 1:1, John 8:58, Colossians 1:19, Hebrews 1:1 5, and Revelation 1:1 are just a few of the prominent passages that authenticate the deity of Jesus Christ. In the book Fundamentals of the Faith, Peter Kreeft says another tool for properly utilizing apologetics are creeds. Creeds are a formal statement of Christian beliefs. He also argues that the creeds specify our destiny as well as the nature of God because God is our destiny. Creeds were created by the church to objectify the truth as in the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and the Apostles Creed. The Apostles Creed speaks about the Trinity. The doctrine of the Trinity means that there is one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Stated differently, God is one in essence and three in person. Similarities Between Christianity And Christianity The book of Genesis chapter 17 verses 20 and 21 in the Holy Bible state My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year. When he had finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him . This covenant between God and Abraham would plant the seeds of Judaism and Christianity; it prophesized a great nation who would be the descendants of Abraham and Isaac This nation of people would be called the Jews, and with the crucifixion of Jesus this nation would become fractured into Jews and Christians. This would lead to cause contention and religions confusion for thousands of years Judaism and Christianity are both monotheistic religions that have similar core values and principles; however despite these similarities there are differences in practice and traditions that have caused ethnic and religious conflicts that often overshadows their connection. Historical events such as the expulsion of Jews due to religious persecution in European countries like England, France, and Spain in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries set the stage for the greatest example of ethnic cleansing in human history, the Holocaust. The systematic death of millions of European Jews by European Christians is by far the greatest example of how these small traditional and interpretive differences in these two religions have had drastic consequences. These two counterparts of Christianity often times were at odds because of discrepancies over where the true source of Church authority actually resided within the Byzantine Empire. As a result, Christian fringe groups in countries such as Egypt or Palestine would be easily labeled as heretics and would find themselves disassociated from the Church. When the Arab conquest claimed these lands, they tended to show more tolerance for non Muslims in exchange for good citizenship within the new Islamic environment. • 11. Sales Promotion Tools Are The Lifeblood Of Marketing Products Sales promotion tools are the lifeblood of marketing products/services to consumers. Without them, people would not be as likely to purchase every new fad that comes their way, and corporations would be wasting their money on products people were nervous to buy. For example, if you were used to using one particular type of cat food because you know your cat enjoys eating it, how likely would you be to switch the food? Probably not very likely, due to the fact that you had already looked at the nutrition facts, the price, and the seafood taste that cats are sure to love. Now, what if you received a ten dollar off coupon (for cat food that only costs twelve dollars). What would you do? Would you reconsider the food you were going to buy that week because of this coupon? Maybe the new food is just as good now that you are really thinking about it, and it only is going to cost a total of two dollars, so no harm done if you go ahead and make the purchase. This is exactly what a good sales promotion does to consumers, it makes them take a second look at their buying choices, and hopefully convinces them that it would be a good idea to try their product. I live in the United States, and the three most heavily used sales promotions are contests, loyalty programs, and sponsorships. Who doesn t love a chance to win something free I know I do! The Reasons For Becoming Vegetarian When asked what being vegetarian meant to me in the past, my thoughts depicted leaf eating hippies protesting for PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals). Over the years I ve become more open minded, and increased my education on the definition of a true vegetarian. A vegetarian is defined as an individual who excludes meat and sometimes other animal products from their everyday diet. The reasons for becoming vegetarian vary. Reasons may be health, moral, or environmentally related. Some may choose to adopt the diet later in life; others may be born into it and carry it on throughout their lifetime. I consider my own diet semi or flexitarian, meaning I choose to limit my meat consumption to four or less times a week. My decision is based on the healthier eating aspect and my own care for animals. The reason I chose this topic was to increase my knowledge of the healthy lifestyle I call my own, and hopefully influence others to limit their meat consumption as well. I believe a more plant based diet would benefit everyone s well being, generally promote a healthier lifestyle, and reduce the amount of animals being raised and slaughtered. Vegetarianism is not a newly developed concept; the plant based way of eating has been around a very long time. Considering the main viewership of kamishibai consists of young children, Japanese government employed kokusaku kamishibai to instruct the young generation how they should behave everyday and remind them of the characters they had to play in regard of the prosperity of the Great Imperial of Japan. This kind of kamishibai is very much similar to the moral education, but they ultimately have characteristic of wartime propaganda because the issues related to the war exist from time to time in the storyline. Similarities Between Science And Science introduction Religion and Science are very compatible; they both provide knowledge and understanding of human nature and the world in which humankind live. Galileo According to Galileo, there are two kinds of truth. One is the truth acquires through intellects, experience, and vital evidence. The second is the truth acquired through bible teachings. The bible is meant to explain topics that are beyond human reasoning, things that cannot be proven by science. Accordingly, religious truth is strongly based on faith; it depends on the teachings of a divine being and not on evidence. Science, on the other hand, contributes knowledge on things that cannot be literally explained by the Bible; every statement made in science must be proven with facts. Human Development Index The critical difference between most development models and the human development index is that most development models only focus on income while the human development index includes the enlargement of all human choices economic, political, social and cultural which all affect income. Comparing countries Gross National Product/Gross Domestic Product per capita is the most common way of measuring the level of development today. This model of economic growth assessment is based on a weak foundation that is not sustainable over a long term economically, ethnically and politically. Higher per capita income in a country does not necessarily mean that the country s inhabitants are better off than those in a country with a lower income per capita. Along with many other measures of development, these various indicators do no capture many aspects of human well being. Sometimes, a country with a high level of national income records a significantly high percentage proportion deemed to be in poverty, illiterate, in poor health, with no access to a clean water supply and sanitation, and thus limited a huge disparity is observed, based on gender inequality, ethnicity and income. • 41. Functional Approaches To Iron Man 1. In relation to the functional approaches to persuasion, this advertisement utilizes symbolic functions of attitude. The slogan The sneaker makes the man, which implies masculinity and style, and the connection to Iron Man, a character who represents many men s dreams of style, money, and sex appeal, are both symbols that work to represent the shoe and the positive consequences the buyer would see after a purchase. They help to persuade the buyer of the manliness of the product, and the status that would come with owning it. This appeal to manliness also connects the advertisement to the ego defensive functions of attitude, and appeals to these men s need to defend their masculine self image. Though shoes are multi functional objects, the advertisers have chosen to appeal to high self monitors through this symbolic imagery. Though the specific monitoring of the audience is unknown, Nike shoes often appeal to those who are high self monitors, as buyers are willing to pay a high price to obtain the brand recognition and high status that accompanies the purchase of the Nike brand. The advertisers should choose to print this advertisement in media that focuses on a man s self image, such as a men s fashion magazine. The advertisement also connects to balance theory by using the celebrity endorsement of Iron Man. This form of persuasion works with buyers who have a positive liking relationship with Iron Man, and perceive that the character, or the company behind the character, has a positive liking relationship with the shoe. To keep their attitudes in balance, the buyer will then also have a positive liking relationship toward the shoe. Though it is an advertising context, the persuader has chosen not to offer any counter arguments or refutations, and has kept the message one sided. This could be because the Nike brand does not feel as if it needs to enhance its credibility with a two sided argument, as Nike is already a credible source on self image management through its long standing success of managing a brand that represents style, wealth, and high status. 2.
