The monthly media center report from Carver Elementary School for October 2014 shows that 1207 books were checked out during the month. The top faculty patron was Kindergarten teacher Heather Williams and the top student patron was 2nd grader Ranijah Cummings. Ms. Heather Lane's Kindergarten class had the most checkouts at 163 books among K-2 classes, while Mrs. Miranda Moore's 3rd-5th grade class checked out 109 books, the most among those grades. Kindergarten students visit the library weekly for story time with the media specialist and 5 students per week sign up to help out in the media center as part of a positive behavior program.
