goods business.
•He renamed his company “Levi Strauss & Co.” - 1863.
•The brand “levi’s” was introduced - 1873.

local labourer
asked Jacob, a
Reno Nevada
tailor to make a
pair of pants for
her husband
that wouldn’t
fall apart.

thought of Levi
