  • #2 Good Afternoon and Welcome! I want to thank you all for being here today. This is my second straight year presenting here and have thoroughly enjoyed being here in a much warmer location than Minneapolis! It’s an honor to be here representing IOUG and being part of a wonderful conference.
  • #5 Our current software and services initiatives for Oracle WebCenter are shown here. We have recently been focused on developing products that provide Oracle WebCenter customers with new ways to contribute content. This includes solutions for Mobile ECM, extending Oracle WebCenter capabilities to iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Additionally, we have products that provide robust batch load capabilities of digital assets and then providing users with interactive ways to tag and group photographs, illustrations, and other creative assets. And our SharePoint connector provides users of both SharePoint and Oracle WebCenter Content with that desired SharePoint front-end collaboration and content contribution backed by the power of Oracle and finally the topic of today’s discussion the Google Search Appliance connector to enable WebCenter customers to harness the power of Google Search within WebCenter Content.

  • #9 Organizations owning ERP systems (EBS & PeopleSoft) – Manage & maintain information for many lines of business. Invest a lot of time and money in these systems Main module - A/P - Financial information Provides lots of features for businesses but no flexibility.
  • #11 3 levels of automation (low, mid, high) start slow and improve over time It depends on how you want to start and where. - Paper to Paperless - Achieve high ROI Can the business process be changed? Have to be open to change in process. Centralized A/P, approval workflow change. Implementing technology will not help solve the problem.
