This document discusses the need to change student evaluation to align with 21st century skills. It notes that both students and the world have become more digital, so evaluation must assess essential knowledge and skills for students to function effectively in today's world. Specifically, evaluation should measure solution fluency, information fluency, collaboration fluency, creativity fluency, media fluency, and digital citizenship. It also recommends focusing on the "4D's" of problem solving - define, design, do, and debrief - as digital tools allow students to engage in real-world problem solving.
