Leonardo DaVinci was a 15th century Italian painter who created three famous works:
1) The Last Supper, a mural painting in Milan depicting the final meal that Jesus shared with his apostles before his crucifixion.
2) Mona Lisa, a 16th century portrait of Lisa Gherardini owned by the Louvre museum in Paris known for its subject's enigmatic smile.
3) Lady with an Ermine, a portrait of Cecilia Gallerani painted around 1489-1490 when she was the mistress of the Duke of Milan, and an early example of psychological portraiture.
