Leonardo da Vinci was an Italian polymath who lived from 1452 to 1519. He worked as a painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, and engineer, and made important contributions in numerous fields. Some of his most famous works include The Last Supper, the Mona Lisa, and Vitruvian Man. He spent much of his career in Florence, Milan, and France, working for various rulers and the Church.
