Team Ground Rules and Guidelines
What are the general expectations for all members of the team?
We should present our best work in a timely manner, contribute to work discussion, and be open to the
ideas of other team mates with the goal to complete the assignments on time and to our best possible
ability. ________________________________________________________________________________________
Expectations for Time Management and Involvement
(Participation, communication with the team, accessibility, etc.)
Each team member should check in daily (if possible) with the team messages, provide input as
applicable, and reply to messages in a timely manner (as possible) to expedite the writing process of
assignments.__________________________________________________________________________________

2. Ensuring Fair and Even Contribution and Collaboration
What strategy will you use to ensure that all team members are contributing and collaborating
appropriately? Describe the communication strategy you will use if a team member is not contributing and
collaborating effectively. How will the team manage conflicts between team members?
As adult learners, the learning team stresses respectful communication and generous contribution to the
assignments. We each do the best we can and help each other as much as we can. The end result is
more important than egos. Issues should be discussed respectfully and without malice. If we all do our
best and contribute as much as possible, we can corroborate and collaborate with little or no conflict. _____

3. Special Considerations
What do you, as a team, agree will make this team experience different from past team experiences?
Some of us are first time Learning Team members. Communication is the key to effective collaboration.
Respectful discussion and generous contribution will benefit everyone on the team. ____________________
