Learning involves acquiring or modifying knowledge, behaviors, skills, or preferences through experience. It is defined as a relatively permanent change in behavior resulting from practice or experience. This study compared the effectiveness of an activity-based intervention program versus a direct instruction program for developing motor skills in preschool children with developmental delays. Two groups of preschoolers received 15 weeks of physical education through either activity-based intervention, where instruction was child-directed, or direct instruction, where the teacher directed activities. Both groups showed improvements in locomotor and object control skills, but the activity-based intervention group showed significantly greater gains. The results suggest that activity-based intervention is an effective instructional approach for developing motor skills in preschoolers with delays or disabilities.

Using Bronfenbrenner’s ecological theory of human development as the framework, this study explores how the ecological context of student teachers affect their belief development during the teaching practicum. Findings reveal that during the teaching practicum, student teachers interacted directly or indirectly with their ecological environments, including students, parents, mentors, supervisors, school policies, culture and social trends, which led them to develop, confirm, integrate, discard, or modify their beliefs. Findings also reveal that ecological environments may not only encourage but also impede student teachers’ belief development depending on what kind of influences they exert on them. Lastly, findings suggest that although macrosystem locates the most distant in student teachers’ ecological environments, factors within it may exert a huge influence on other environments and thus have a huge impact on student teachers. Based on the above findings, this study calls upon more opportunities for student teachers to participate in real-world professional practice so that they can put their beliefs to test. Learning
Tolman conducted an experiment with rats in a maze to demonstrate latent learning. The rats explored the maze each day but received no reward. Later, when food was placed at the maze's exit, the rats were able to navigate directly to the exit, showing they had learned the layout of the maze during their initial unrewarded trials through latent learning. This challenged the behaviorist view that learning only occurs when reinforced and showed learning can take place without observable changes in behavior. Tolman's work supported the idea that animals and humans learn through cognitive maps and problem-solving rather than stimulus-response conditioning alone.

Motor Learning:-

It is related with the language which we use to communicate and various other forms of verbal communication such as symbols, words, languages, sounds, figures and signs.
Concept Learning: -
This form of learning is associated with higher order cognitive processes like intelligence, thinking, reasoning, etc. Which we learn right from our childhood. which is very useful for identifying or recognizing things.
VDiscrimination Learning:
Learning which distinguishes between various stimuli with its appropriate and different responses is regarded as discrimination stimuli.

It is higher type of learning ,this learning requires the use of cognitive abilities like thinking, reasoning.
Paired - Associate Learning:
In this type of learning tasks are presented In such a way that they may be learned by reason of their associations.
Attitude Learning:
Much of learning is based on attitude because of formation of attitude we show favourable or unfavourable responses to various objects.

In this learning takes place by observing the behaviours of others ,this is the type of learning that occurs naturally and does not require any teaching.

Learning is a change in behaviour—better or worse. b. It is a change that takes place through practice or experience, but changes due to growth or maturation are not learning. c. This change in behavior must be relatively permanent, and it must last a fairly long time.

KIMBLE defined learning as “More or less permanent change in behavior potentiality which occurs as a result of repeated practice.” LEARNING AND BEHAVIOURAL CHANGES 1)permenant change in behavior that associated with the process of maturation. 2) permits organism to adopt the changing conditions of environment.
