words): Dr.Ramachandra Rao.K is working as Lecturer in Physics and acting
as Research Director in the Department of Physics, Government College (A),
Rajahmundry. Andhra Pradesh. He received Gold Medal in his M.Sc. Nuclear
Physics in1995 from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He has also
received the State Best Physics Teacher Award and IUFF (Inter University
Faculty Form) Award from the O/o Commissionerate of Collegiate
Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh in 2014. He established a
research facility “Crystal Growth and Nanoscience Research Centre” and
guiding M.Phil and Ph.D. students. He got UGC and DAE-BRNS Research
Projects to his credit and also has collaborative research work with BARC,
Mumbai, NPL, New Delhi and RRCAT, Indore. Selected for Prestigious
Raman PDF fellowship to work at University of Louisville, USA on
renewable energy resources. So far Three Ph.D and two M.Phill have been
awarded under his guidance through Andhra University, Visakahapatanam.
He has published31 research articles in various National and International
Journals so far. He attended more than 55 National and International
Seminars/Workshops and presented papers and also given Invited talks. He
received SRPF fellowship twice by Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore.
He has organized 08 workshops, 01 National level Refresher Course and 04
National conferences/workshops in Physics and published ATOM-2014
abstract book with ISBN No & Conference Special issue of 45 original
research articles in International Journal of Science and Research (ISSN
No:2319-6014) with impact factor.4.4. Member of AP knowledge
Commission, Government of Andhra Pradesh. He is a life member of many

India. Received Gold Medal in his M.Sc. Nuclear Physics and also obtained
his Ph.D from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India. He is recipient of
the State Best Physics Teacher Award and IUFF (Inter University Faculty
Form) Award from the O/o Commissionerate of Collegiate Education,
Department of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Established a research facility
“Crystal Growth and Nanoscience Research Centre” and guiding M.Phil and Ph.D. students. Handling
University Grants Commission and Department of Atomic Energy-Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences
Research Projects and also has collaborative research work with BARC, Mumbai, NPL, New Delhi and
