The document summarizes the results of a survey of 1004 learners across several European countries regarding their needs and preferences for features of a learning management system (LMS) for blended learning courses. The survey found that learners consider interactive materials, interaction with teachers and tutors, and a platform covering both in-person and online activities as important features of an LMS. The results also showed some differences in preferences based on learners' country of origin and educational level.
This paper is a report on a exploratory design research of educational intervention conducted on a public institute of education and technology. This presentation summarises the headline findings from the UCISA 2016 Survey of Technology Enhanced Learning, which tracks developments in the use of learning technologies across the UK higher education sector. In this year's Survey, special attention was directed to open learning activities, ranging from open course provision to badges and open accreditation methods for staff development. The Survey question-set also addressed learner analytics in greater depth than in past Surveys, with a focus on the different types of tool-sets which institutions are using and their deployment across courses. Respondents were invited to comment on how their institution is making use of analytics to evaluate the impact of TEL tools on the student learning experience and what this means for academic practice.

MoLE was based on a need to provide training and education where the challenge is the inability to train and communicate due to long-standing challenges of low-bandwidth and limited internet connectivity and infrastructure. Even though the participating organizations JKO and Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC), viewed the project from different perspectives, they believed research was needed to show that under unpredictable situations (i.e., full connectivity, low connectivity and no connectivity), m-Learning could address the connectivity challenge.

In order to improve the quality of the traning process of their employes the Patronato EPASA CNA started a experimentation of a new model of traning. The needs of the patronato were to:
* To develop a training system for a large number of learners, geographically distributed throughout the country, which is economically sustainable
* To develop a training system that meets the needs of learners with different levels of skills and knowledge.
* To develop a training system that enables the assessment of the effectiveness of the training and monitoring the level of learning for each individual operator.

The presentation is a contribution to the "Quality in Blended Learning Conference" in Málaga.
Technology based teaching with a learner-centered access seems to be a promising access to teaching. A special learning sequence using Blended Learning fitting to a selected target group of youth learners was created. To develop an appropriate setting the research group selected a student’s group in the subject Project Management and Presentation Technique. The analyses of possible learning environments resulted in either a Blended Learning environment or a pure distance learning.
The course based on competence oriented learning outcomes (van Lakerveld 2011). From the beginning, a quality assurance system was defined based on a quality framework for Blended Learning (Mazohl 2014).
The feedback of the students was split in a pre-questionnaire, an intermediate and a final questionnaire.
The data analyzes focus on students’ expectations and students’ experience. To create indicators for quality-based Blended Learning a quantitative survey was conducted as well as a qualitative investigation. The quantitative survey was performed using a questionnaire in context with a practical implementation of the course in frame of regularly teaching. Additional, the prove of the quality framework was measured.
