to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover

- 1. LEARNER RESOURCE PORTAL REGISTRATION By: REDEN KEITH L. NONATO Teacher III 100150 Imelda ES District of Marcos Schools Division of Ilocos Norte
- 4. Fill-out the needed data
- 5. Select in the Affiliation dropdown menu your Region, Division, District and School
- 6. Select in the Affiliation dropdown menu your Region, Division, District and School
- 7. Select in the Area of Expertise dropdown menu Primary Education
- 8. Then Choose your Learning Areas
- 9. Click the boxes Then Click Register
- 10. After Registration Click this to create a new tab.
- 12. Click Sign in
- 14. Sign in using your deped email account then go to mail
- 15. 1. Look for the e-mail sent to you by LR Portal 2. Open the email 3. Click Activate Your Account 4. You are now all set to access Deped LR Portal
- 16. Go back to LR Portal and click login
- 17. Use the username the password you registered.
- 18. You can now start browsing.
- 19. Click Resources then choose K to 12 Resources
- 20. Select your K-12 Grade Levels here………..
- 22. Education is what survives when what has been learned is forgotten.
