This document summarizes a "Lazy Teacher Week" held at Sandringham school where teachers spent a week being intentionally less active to see the effects. Student feedback was positive, noting they enjoyed having more responsibility and variety in lessons that didn't focus solely on interactive whiteboards. The document reflects on progress made since 2010 in moving lessons toward being more student-centered, collaborative, independent and skills-focused with support like resources, scaffolding and technology. While the school may not achieve its "Gold" goal, the intent, effort and support shown are most important.

13. In Feb 2010, we said teachers will be saying more of this.... How else could you have done that? Who did that a different way? Which are the tricky bits? What’s tricky about them? What could you do when you are stuck on that? What would have made that easier for you? What else do you know that might help? How could you help someone else do that? How could you make that harder for yourself?
