The Unified Science Center At Stockton For My Project
I decided to choose the Unified Science Center at Stockton for my project because it
is easily accessible to me, it is fairly new and as a business major student, I found the
building to be very impressive. We business majors don t have a place to hang out or
a quiet place to talk to people in our major. I normally just see people in the library or
in the hallway and if we have to do schoolwork we just go to a computer lab.
However, the Science and Math majors have a buildingfull of labs and classrooms. In
my opinion I felt like Stockton was trying to one up the Arts building with another
new building. The two buildings are similar in the way they both function. The Art
building is a good place for the Art majors to get creative for their assignments and
while these students are surrounded by artwork they could feel more of an impact
from the atmosphere. The Science Center is a good place to apply what the Science
students have learned in class and apply it in a laboratory.
Stockton University built this building to attract more science students. I think EYP
did a great job designing the building. If you never entered the building before, you
can just look at it from the outside and just tell that it is a building designed for

The ultimate goal of this study was to compare Poisson and Negative binomial
regression models using road accident (count) data to assess which of them
significantly fit count data. The data for this study were obtained from the Building
and Road Research Institute of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research
(CSIR) on the number of people killed by road accidents in Ghana, including days
that those accidents occurred within the period from 2001 2010.The maximum
likelihood estimation was employed to determine the parameter estimates for each
model with R statistical package. The results showed that the negative binomial
regression model best fits road accidents data significantly as compared with the
poison regression model. The results also revealed that the day an accident occurred
within the week significantly affected the expected number of people killed in that
accident. It was identified that Saturday significantly had the highest number of

The Function Of Critical Reflection In Social Work
Critical reflection is both a theory and a process that involves engaging and
understanding the interconnections between assumptions, emotions, thoughts,
reactions, meanings and values (Fook Garnder, 2007). Critical reflection in social
work can challenge assumptions, values and beliefs either from our own upbringing
or stemmed from societal attitudes and perceptions (Agglias et al., 2010).
From my placement experiences, I had related a lot to adolescents because we were
so close in age. One of my strengths that I had identified early on in placement was
that I could be naturally empathetic and adapt my communication style with this
target group with ease. By working closely with adolescents in my supervisor s
caseload and building rapport with them, I could see firsthand the impacts of what
placement breakdowns had on them, and how this affected their self esteem and
confidence. For this reason, I am very passionate about working with adolescents and
working towards change which ultimately impacts my practice.
However, I found that from professional experiences, within the CP agency context,
advocating for adolescents was a challenging task.
There was an incident on placement where I did not agree with how a high school
wellbeing coordinator responded to a disclosure about sexual harassment and assault
occurring on school grounds on behalf of a young person. In summary, this
wellbeing coordinator questioned the validity of the experience stating that
sometimes girls make malicious comments against other students , as well as
saying that it was child protection s responsibility despite it occurring on school
grounds. When fed this back this to my team, I was told to write the conversation
in a case note, and to carry on to another task. This did not stop there as I took this
to the team manager who sat down with me and wrote a complaint to the
department of education. In terms of this paper, and relevance, I believe there needs
to be collaboration across the sector. This experience alone allowed me to reflect on
the importance of advocacy is in social work, and how one difference of one person

World Literature author, Aminatta Forna made its debut in 2002; just in time to
contribute to healing the brokenness of a society and their leftover open wounds
from the aftermath of the civil war in Sierra Leone. In this analysis research paper,
I will discuss how the author extends her writing to address an entire society, as well
as ordinary families and individuals that have experienced the horror and corruptness
that broken politics can bring upon a group of people. More narrowed, I will focus
on my particular interpretation and argument of the reading; not the author s work to
honor her father by tracking down the truth, but rather her ability to use her personal
experiences in a way that inspires a more hopeful, courageous, educated and
independent population throughout all of the world affected by war and hate,
particularly West Africa.
Aminatta, a woman of many cultural backgrounds, contributes multiple perspectives
of her writing, which helps readers understand differing cultures. Her mother was
Scottish, her father was from Sierra Leone and finally her influential step mother
fled with Aminatta and her siblings to make a life for them in England as the
downfall of democracy began in Sierra Leone. This two part book evolved as a
collection of piecing together memories and discoveries leading to the uncovered
mystery behind Mohamed Forna s public execution during Aminatta s childhood.

The business portfolio analysis uses quantified performance measures and market
growth to analyze a firm s strategic business units as though they were a collection
of separate investments. The BCG advises clients to locate the position of each of
its SBUs on a growth share matrix. The vertical axis is the market growth rate,

Mycelial Pathogen
Step 1: Written observation of the symptoms of the fruit and signs of the pathogen.
Symptoms and signs
The fruit that is examined in this study is a strawberry. The infected strawberry in
displayed in figure 1, appears to be fully covered in mycelial growth. Mycelial
consists of white filaments also known as hyphae (mould), which seems to be
growing on the strawberry. Within the branched hyphae there are multiple black
spores that surround the fruit. Although the fruit appears to be shriveled, there
appears to be an access amount of liquid which remains on the parafilm and the inner
components of the fruit are moist and soft. The multiple stages of mycelial that are

The slide appears to attain dark hyphae fruiting bodies at the tips. The appearance of
spores, sporangiospore and sporangium are visible. Rhizopus is identified in the
microscopic analysis of the fruit. The rhizopus is seen as the branching hypha ends in
figure 4. The microscope slide demonstrates density of hyphae around the mid region.
Do the Pure Culture Symptoms Observations Match? At the beginning of the
experiment, the samples had visible hyphae and black fruiting bodies, which appear
to be visible in the re infected fruit samples. Both the samples have distinct zones of
mycelial growth and colonization. In the fruiting and productive zones both samples
appear to have increased hyphae density. When samples are analyzed in the
microscope they both have evident clusters of sporangia and conidia. When
comparing the infect fruit samples it is clear that both the original and re infected
samples are quite similar results including signs and symptoms.
