fascinating that people around the world have so many different ways to interact
with each other. The way they speak, greet, think, eat, behave and generally live

being said, when one of my mom s Egyptian friends invited us for teaat her place I

Education has many issues and the three most important are the day one problem,
bullying, and high dropout rates. These issues are often a big problem and can lead to
an education that does not do the United States justice.
The first issue is the day one problem. This problem states the beginning of a child

parents who have minimal education, never went to college, and are poor.
Therefore, John has a definite disadvantage against other students, who have well
educated parents with a higher degree. Because of his disadvantage, he may not

Acids are chemical agents that, when mixed with water, release hydrogen ions.
Acids have a pH of under 7 on the pH scale.(Williams, 2016) An acid produces a
sour taste, like Vinegar, and gives off a strong smell, that burns the human nose.
Acids are often very sticky, and react strongly with metals, and create a chemical
reaction to form H2. (Guch, 2003) A Base is the complete opposite of an Acid, and
describes a substance that is above 7 on the pH scale. Bases have a more higher
potential than Acids to accept Hydrogen Ions. This means that rather than releasing
ions, as an Acid would, a Base accepts the ions.(Morrissey, 2016) Similar to Acids,
Bases provide a Bitter taste, like Cocoa Beans, or Bicarb Soda. Bases, unlike Acids,
do not usually give off a distinct smell, but are usually quite slippery. Bases react
with most oils and fats, such as Detergent reacting with human skin, and slowly

Binaries are embedded within every facet of our perceptions. War, peace, night, day,
love, hate; we are inclined to believe that every subject, idea, and thing has a
polarizing companion. While this paradigm may be beneficial in understanding the
distinction and differences between these pairs, it fails to entertain an idea even more
compelling; that these polar opposites may not in fact be that different from one
another, and the bold notion that these dichotomies might not be as real as we
presume. Art and physics have been traditionally painted as polar opposites; neither
resembling the other even remotely. One is rational, objective, and logical, while the
other is interpretive, subjective, and, at times, seemingly illogical. While these
superficial characteristics make a persuasive argument for an antagonistic relationship
