A two unit standby system is considered with two types of repair facilities. One
facility repairs one unit at a time and other facility repairs both the units
simultaneously. When both the units fail, if unit can be repair in short time then
repair will be continued, otherwise in order to improve availability another substitute
system taken from outside is used, which is guaranteed for failure free operation.
Assuming failure and repair times as exponentially distributed, Expressions for the
mean time to system failure (MTSF), the steady state availability and busy period
for system are derived using linear first order differential equations. A particular case
for the proposed system is discussed in which substitute system was not considered.
Also comparison is performed graphically to observe the effect of the proposed
system on Availability.

villages and towns. All of a sudden, home to the refugees now meant small bare
walled apartments in Clarkston, Georgia. Warren St. John s Outcasts United,
illustrates the struggles of both the refugees and the townspeople as they adapt to the
changes in Clarkston. In particular, St. John focuses on a refugee soccer team led by a
Jordanian woman named Luma Mufleh. While the soccer team helped refugee
families adjust to American Lifestyle, it prompted changes in the community that the
townspeople of Clarkston were not ready to acknowledge. The Clarkston residents
had to alter their lifestyle economically, religiously, and culturally to accommodate

and silica coating on structural, magnetic, and optical properties of CoFe2O4 nano
particles had been investigated. XRD patterns confirmed that all samples were found

observed that increasing the amount of non magnetic Cd2+ up to certain amount
leads to an increase of saturation magnetization. The band gap energy tends to
increase with silica coating and increasing in Cd2+ content to reach maximum value
of 1.61eV for Cd0.5Co0.5Fe2O4/SiO2 sample, which implies that this material is
suitable for magnetic data storage and magneto optical nanodevice applications.
