Nailul Fadloil is a student from Demak, Central Java who participated in IRITS (Integrated Roadshow ITS). Due to his home being far from Demak, he only visited two high schools - SMA N 1 Kudus and SMA N 1 Pecangaan in Jepara. He also participated in a university expo at MAN 2 Kudus. At the high schools, he explained about ITS programs and majors to students and answered their questions. The expo had few attendees and students asked basic questions. Overall, IRITS was a good opportunity but the proposal timeline could be improved for better planning.

1. REPORTS
INTEGRATED ROADSHOW ITS 2013
My name is Nailul Fadloil (2913100019). I am a student from Demak, Central Java. But for this
IRITS I didn’t when to my own town Demak. The reason is I didn’t know the exist student from Demak in
ITS except my junior high school-friends that’s the first. The other one is because I didn’t study in Demak
for My High School. So, I don’t have any idea about where to go or who’s to call. Just for Information My
house is in a small village so far away from Demak, and it will be easy for me to go to Kudus or Jepara.
In this IRITS season, I only got 2 High School to visit they are SMA N 1 Kudus (Kudus) and SMA N
1 Pecangaan (Jepara) and I also join in a university expo that held on MAN 2 Kudus. Actually I did send
the proposal to 3 other School that is SMA N 2 Kudus, SMA N 1 Gebog (Kudus) and SMA N 1 Bae (Kudus).
My team could not visit SMA N 2 Kudus and SMA N 1 Bae because of the time. The time allowed by
those school was out of Our vacation time. But in My team except me could visit SMA N 1 Gebog
because as I mentioned before my home is far from the town and I have no vehicle to come on time
beside the weather and the float that broke a bridge to get to the town. So, I only got 2 schools to visit
in this season.
I though IRITS is a good idea, but the worst one is the system. The proposal I got is too late. So
the problem like on SMA N 2 Kudus and SMA N 1 Gebog could not happened. For the next time I hope
the system and timeline will be better and accurate.
MAN 2
KUDUS
Actually I didn’t really wanna get in this university expo in MAN 2 Kudus, my real goal is to help
the victim of the float disaster in Kudus. But I lost coordination with the Red Cross. Its been a long story
so I skipped it.
Monday, 26 January 2014 is the date of the unisversity expo. It held from 8.00 – 16.00 at indoor
stadion of MAN 2 Kudus. I arrived there at 13.00 and just a couple student from many university and a
couple of High School Students. No many question that they asked to ITS just a tiny things about “ Hey
brat what does this major study?” or “How is my opportunity to get job after I join those major?”. More
asked is about “How much student is allowed to get there via SNMPTN? SBMPTN?” and “How many

2. ways to join the ITS?”. It is a simple questions that always they aksed. I think it will be better if we have a
time to explain about the major or the institute. But hello, this is a university expo. So that what I got in
the first IRITS. Thanks for MAN 2 Kudus and the alumni for the event.
SMA 1 KUDUS

3. I am in duty in this School and I am also an alumni of SMA N 1 Kudus, so it easier for the
allowance than other school. I got the right date at Wednesday, 29 January 2014 at 13.30 at first. But
the day before the coordinator teacher for university sosialization program call me and the time is
changed to 8.00 after the instruction from the head master. So here we go. I got the problem about the
vehicle to come at first, you know because of the float but at the end My friend from STT Telkom
Bandung help me out.
The situation at the hall is not condusive because there was too much students, about 300. First,
we explain a tiny things about ITS and the ways to join also the seats number for the new students. Its
been very loud voice inside, so uncondusive. But at the discussion season every things change. They are
antusiasted not much but a little better than none. I remember some of them asked about “How to join
in D3 PLN? And how is the prospect job? Is the alumni will be PLN’s worker?” hamidan answer it as he
knows, and I just said ,”Don’t worry about the job, bacause ITS has SAC, Bursa Kerja ITS, many
cooperated program with big company and also the Incubation program”. Another quenstion is about
the new major, my major the Multimedia and Network Engineering. Thanks god for make them asked it.
Hamidan and I explain as much as we can say about this major. When we shows them a video about the
project made in Multimedia and Network Engineering, the hall become so quite, what a good situation.
It was just great.
But there will be better if I could make it class by class, probably there will be more questions
and more enthusias. Thanks for SMA N 1 Kudus for allowing our IRITS 2014. We’ll come again next year.
SMA N 1 Pecangaan Jepara
Its been unscheduled to presentated ITS in SMA N 1 Pecangaan because there is miss-
comunication of the Forda. So we from Imakusa just give a hands to join the presentation after the IRITS
at SMA N 1 Kudus. There just four classes there, we break the team appart into four and just do it. In my
class there was no good interaction between the student and us. They just keep in silent and no much
question, there seems no enthusiasme. But it still ajob right, so we just go on. Explain anything we know
and anythings that usually High School student wanna hear about a university.
Oh by the ways, I meet with Kevin Abdul Razak. We have no coordination before but I glad he
came, because there just a person from Jepara. Thanks for SMA N 1 Pecangaan Jepara for allowing us to
introduce ITS.
