Good morning! I’m Mary; asst lecturer, it’s my honor to give a welcome speech on this day . I
take this opportunity in welcoming, the galaxy of intellectuals, your Excellency, Distinguished
Delegates, invited guests, teachers, students and my dear friends for Lamp lighting and graduation
day celebration.
It gives me great pleasure to extend to you all a very warm welcome on behalf

Collin Richard Timms, social entrepreneur and chairman of Guardian Bank, Bangalore
who has agreed to be the Chief Guest of our lamp lighting and graduation day celebration.

 I welcome our dear and Dr. N K George, founder and Chairman of Ebenezer educational
charitable trust, founder chairman of Eben Ezer public school in 2001, founder chairman
of Eben Ezer College of nursing and Eben Ezer School of nursing in 2003, in Bangalore.
Founder chairman of 300 bedded multispecialty Ebenezer hospital in Bangalore. He
started the trust with a mission and vision to contribute the best to the society through
quality education and serve in 2001.
A small introduction:
He has been awarded and recognized for quality of works from the governor of Karnataka
in 1996, educationist award from halleluiah weekly magazine, Kerala in 2006, social work
award from Christian organization, Bangalore in 2006, indira Gandhi sadbhavana award
in 2006, gold medal from governor of mizoram for outstanding individual achievements
and distinguished services to the nation, new Delhi in 2006 and recipient of honorary
doctorate degree from the university of Jerusalem, Chennai in 2009
He is the man of distinct vision and a fountain head of illuminating ideas, an idol of
knowledge and experience and inspiration to all of us.
