We present a case of 14 years young boy who presented with right sided inguinal swelling for last few years which is painful for last 20 days without any signs and symptoms of bowel obstruction. On examination it was consistent with right sided indirect inguinal hernia with reducible omentum as content. The left inguinal region was normal. Three port Laparoscopic right sided inguinal hernia repair was performed in this adolescent without using mesh.

2. Case Report
 We present a case of 14 years young boy who
presented with right sided inguinal swelling for
last few years which is painful for last 20 days

3.  Laparoscopy plays a great role in the treatment of
inguinal hernia in children. There are several
emerging laparoscopic techniques in the repair of
inguinal hernia in children, geared toward
improving results and outcome.
 # Principles of treatment :
1. Restore the disrupted anatomy
2. Repair using fascia / aponeurosis Not muscle
3. No tension
4. Suture material used should hold until natural
support is formed over it.

4. Advantages of Laparoscopic
repair
 Reported advantages of laparoscopic hernia repair include
 excellent visual exposure,
 minimal dissection,
 less complications,
 comparable recurrence rates,
 and improved cosmetic results compared with the traditional
open approach.
 In addition, laparoscopic hernia repair also allows
contralateral patent process vaginalis (PPV) hernias to be
defined and repaired in the same operation ( *F. Schier, P.
