The focus of Dr. Ferzli's practice is minimally invasive surgical technique to treat and repair problems associated with obesity, colon conditions, hernia, breast cancer and thyroid/parathyroid conditions. He has helped over 10,000 patients worldwide. Dr. Ferzli has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles for surgical journals, book chapters and holds five U.S. government patents covering the art and science of surgery. Dr. Ferzli is Chairman of Surgery and of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He is also a Professor of Surgery at State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate in Brooklyn, NY.
