The Texas STaR Chart is a teacher tool used for planning and self-assessing a school's technology readiness based on the state's long range technology plan. It evaluates four levels of progress - Early Tech, Developing Tech, Advanced Tech, and Target Tech - across four parts: Teaching & Learning, Educator Preparation, Administration & Support, and Infrastructure. The document concludes that the school has maintained at least Advanced Tech status in all areas over the past three years, and that regularly using the STaR Chart helps identify strengths and weaknesses to make the campus more successful.
