The Texas STaR Chart is a self-assessment tool that evaluates a school's level of educational technology integration based on the state's Long-Range Plan for Technology. It addresses how technology is used for teaching and learning, educator development, leadership and support, and infrastructure. Schools are rated on a scale from Early Tech to Target Tech. The ratings help guide districts and campuses in technology planning to meet the state's goal of having all schools reach Target Tech status by 2020.
