2. Introduce the topic to the pupils.
3. Asks the pupils to open their texts
book.

(5 minutes) 1. Read the non-fiction texts. 1. Teacher asks the pupils to read the
texts in the texts book.
2. Teacher also may explain the texts
and some difficult words to the
pupils during the explanations.
Materials:

book page 97.
Practice
(10 minutes) 1. Fill in the table activity 1. Teacher paste some categories based
from the texts at the board.
2. Based on the texts that they had read,
teacher asks the pupils to paste some
word cards at the correct category.
3. Teacher will call out a pupil to the front
to paste the word card correctly.

Answering the worksheet. 1. Teacher spread the worksheet to
the pupils.
2. Teacher explains the worksheet to
the pupils.
3. Teacher monitors and guide pupils
while they are doing the worksheet.
