The student began the class believing that technology caused more problems than benefits. However, after in-class discussions, they realized that technology has many useful applications and how it is used depends on the individual. The student now understands the positive and negative effects of technology in education and wants to learn more tools that can help them develop skills and grow as a student so they can face future challenges as an educated and competent person. They hope to apply what they learned to their future students.

Before this class I thought
technology has brought more
problems than benefits. However,
after many discussions in class I
know technology has many things
to offer and it depends on every
individual how to use it.
There are lots of things I can do
with technology; now it can help
me as student and in the future
as a teacher.
I’m more conscious of the positive
and negative effects of using
technology in education.
From now on the knowledge I
acquired will be useful in many
aspects of my life.
Now, I want to know more about
other useful tools that can help
me to develop new skills and
grow as student.
My interest of continue learning
has increased; all this encouraged
me to prepare me more. I want
to be a competent person to face
future challenges.
Finally, I wish to have the
opportunity of implement what I
learnt here with my future
students.
In this class I learnt to use some
tools I’m sure I’ll continue using.
I had the opportunity to create
my own blog (something I
thought was hard but actually
not) and designed it as I wished.
I learnt how to share my power
point presentations using
slideshare, how to share videos,
and how to create and share a
podcast (I didn’t post it but I
learnt to do it)
I also learnt to use rubrics and
things about evaluation, which is
very useful for teachers. And I’m
sure this will help me a lot.
