Increased selling pressure was observed in the afternoon as the Nifty breached the 5,100 level. The markets closed near the day's highs with marginal gains. Technically, market breadth remained neutral amid lower volumes and prevailing technical indicators continue to weigh on market sentiment. The support and resistance levels for the Nifty are 5,114-5,250.
