A brief history 
• Kerrang is a weekly rock magazine, and is 
currently one of, if not the most, best selling 
music magazines in the UK. 
• It was originally a one-off supplemental 
publication for the newspaper ‘Sounds’ in 
1981, before becoming a weekly publication in 
1987.

The magazine focuses on rock music, with 
articles covering news, interviews, reviews of 
recent releases, etc.
