QA/QC Engineer
1. Project Quality Plan:
 Study and Understand the Project Quality Plan.
 Be aware about the PQP content related to their activities (i.e. Inspections, Material Storage etc.) as
advised by the QA/QC Manager and Sr.QA/QC Engineer.
2. Specifications and Drawings.
 Receive the drawings from the Technical department.
 Review and study the drawings.
 Review the specifications and be aware about the acceptance criteria for each trade.
3. Non- Conformances (NCRs) & Quality Violations (QVs):
 Preparing Quality Violations and NCRS in case of violations
 Following up the status for the Issuance and Closure of the Internal NCRs and QVs
 Follow up the Closure for the Issuance of Site Instruction or NCRs by the Client Side.
4. Reports:
 Report to the QA/QC Manager any Quality Issues raised at site on a daily basis,

5. Inspections
 Attend the Preparatory Inspections for each trade liaising with the Consultant and the Construction
Team.
 Assure that the construction teams are following the agreed Inspection Procedure.
 Assure that the work is being done as per the approved Method Statement and Inspection and Test
Plan,
 Attend the ongoing inspection at site and provide full support to the site team.
 Review the rejected inspections and advise the Site Team accordingly for preventive actions
6. Material Submission, Inspection & Testing:
 Assure that all the permanent materials being delivered to the site are being inspected.
 Conduct Inspection for all permanent materials received at site, by coordination with the Store
Department.
 Take a reference no. from the reference log and submit Material Inspection to the Consultant.
 Liaise with the Consultant for Conducting the Material Inspection at Site.
 Retain a copy after submission.
 Report to the QA/QC Manager in case of any discrepancy.
 Discuss and clarify with the Sr.QA/QC Engineer or the Manager any items not clear in the Inspection
Process.
7. Testing:
 Ensure all the testing resources are available prior to concrete casting.
 Ensure that the Concrete Pouring Record is being filled up.
 Maintain the records for all the Concrete Pouring Record.
 Prepare the Cube Testing Request considering the proper ref. no. for the request which shall match the
cubes ref. no.
 Receive the reports from the lab. And review the reports for any failure to advise accordingly.
 Review the results and advise accordingly for any failures.
 Update the Testing Register and send the results to the consultant.
 8. Others
 Make surveillance report bi-weekly basis
 Make daily reports
 Ensure that the logs are updated and help in its updating
