PROJECT QSTEC POLYSILICON PROJECT PHASE –I
SCOPE: Polysilicon plant having production capacity of 7,200 MTPY of
sellable Product and having two parallel trains, each of which is to be
capable of producing 3,600 MTPY of sellable Product.
The EPC scope of WORK is to be based on the BEDP (Basic Engineering
Design Package) and shall consist of: Verification and Completion of
residual Basic Engineering and Design, Detailed engineering, Site survey;
Procurement, Supply, Manufacture, Fabrication, Route survey wherever
required for over dimensional consignments and transportation of all
equipment and material to site including loading and unloading and
storage; insurance and maintenance, installation, construction,
coordination with Client for obtaining all statutory approvals, Tie-ins and
Hook up to Utilities, Testing, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning of units
Key Responsibilities:
 Reporting to Construction Manager for daily activities of the
site.
 Maintain the good quality of concreting work.
 Preparing BBS for foundation raft, slabs, lintels, beams,
staircase and columns.
 Shuttering and check column by plumb and centre method.
 Ensuring that the work is completed as per the given drawing
and solving the entire site related problems.
 Scheduling and programming site work for its completion in
the given time period.
 Managing construction and supervision of RC Box girder
erection, pre-stressing & installation.
 Reviewing & monitoring the progress of the project with for
ensuring completion of project within the scheduled time.
 Daily scheduling of work and controlling the work force for
completion of necessary task in the site to achieve the weekly
and monthly targets.
 Execution of all construction activities of Buildings, Pipe
Sleepers and Pipe Rack foundations , Electrical Sub Station,
Vent gas recovery, Oil drain collection vessel, Producer
water tanks, Fire water tanks, Treated Water & off- Spec
Tank foundation with dike wall, Pump foundation, RO water
system, Heavy equipments & machinery foundation, Chiller
Building, Preparation of Estimates, taking measurements.
 To prepare & certify the sub contractor’s bills.
 Quality control of concrete works , Back filling, & all civil
works.
 Prepare Monthly Productivity Reports
 Correspondence & Co-ordination with Consultants.
 Co-ordination for Preparation of Shop drawings & As Built.
 Monitoring progress, Preparations of weekly or monthly
reports and managing site meetings.
 Working out quantities of various material requirements.
 Allocating duties to Foreman and Lead-man for daily
activities.
 Calculating the Quantity of Men and Machinery for Each
activity on daily basis.

 Design of formwork and effective utilization of scaffolding
materials.
