- 11. Leadership Skills Iraq (2006) I led a team to Baghdad to conduct a test for the US Ambassador and MNFI. It was the first time my unit conducted a test in a combat zone. I want to lead the project nobody else wants. Hard. Ugly. Complex. High risk. I encourage my people to think & actoutside the box. Iraq Afghanistan Kuwait Kosovo Serbia In times of emergency I was sent to help provide relief. Haiti Mozambique Macedonia When the boss wants massive changes to a PowerPoint brief and there are only 10 minutes before presentation time… I know how to take care of people andget things done indynamic environments. It’s where do some of my best work!

I treat others with respect and understand it’s a reflection on how I view myself. I have discipline, self-control and faith in the system. I lead and follow with honor. Character matters! Especially in tough times. I do the right thing legally & morally, even when no one is looking. I face adversity with personal courage. These aren’t just words to me. They’re my moral compass that guide all my actions and decision-making.
