Why we choose 125KHz for high power application?
• Same as Qi frequency band => 100KHz~148.5KHz
• Higher efficiency thanks to better magnetic material and electronic components
• According to Ishida Kazuhito-san, who was the Technical Standard Director of
Qualcomm Japan
MIC (日本總務省) will undertake a new rulemaking for magnetic coupling
technology using 100k-148.5kHz band at most 100 W later this year, targeting
completion at the end of 2020. Currently we have no regulation specified for WPT
in this band.
• jjPlus uses the resonant technique developed in EV wireless charging in the
125KHz wireless power module design, so we can achieve better XYZ freedom
than Qi method with higher efficiency
