• Students are studying remotely with all the challenges that brings
• That will impact on their experience
• It may cause isolation and effect motivation
• It’s essential to have an oversight of their patterns of engagement and
to be able to intervene if there’s a clear issue emerging
• This is having an impact

• It’s a chance for those that are exploring what learning analytics is
and if it should be for them to find out more.
• So whatever system you use we are here to help guide you to make
the right decisions on governance, legalities, ethics, consent
• THIS community is here for you to network, to share good practice
and improve Learning Analytics as a discipline whatever system or
vendor you’re using for that.

• It’s a chance for vendors to show and tell their own success stories
when working in UK HE / FE
• It’s a chance to hear how Learning Analytics is evolving into
Curriculum, Wellbeing but really Student Success Analytics.
• Because there’s never been so much online activity that make it
easier to assess student engagement.

10. Updates from Jisc continued
• Work with Curriculum Analytics to expand the successful POC
• New Innovation manager Todd Donnelly is working with Niall Sclater
to run workshops on how Curriculum Analytics dashboard should
operate and for which users.
• Wellbeing Code of practice is now published and available. Andrew
Cormack is here to talk about that later
