The Tales Of Heike By Chongmei Analysis
Hojoki is the collections of essays written by Chomei in the Kamakura period. This literature is
for Buddhist concept of impermanence. The Tales of Heike is the story of the Genji war, the fight
between Taira and Minamoto clans for control of Japan. Both literatures have pretty similar main
points of the topic through the Buddhism and the criticism of the life. However, we can also
compare both literature for the societies of Japan in late twelfth century, Kamakura period, because
they each have different points of view. In the Hojoki, it provides the change of the capital and the
emperors through the nature disasters and personal life. The dates of conflagration, typhoon,
famine, and earthquake in Japan are pretty specific in the essay.

Air Canada Aligned Business Strategy with Information Technology
In 2014, Air Canada achieved its best full year financial performance in the Corporation s 77
year history, said Calin Rovinescu, President and Chief Executive Officer. (Air Canada Website
CIO 2015) Adjusted net income was $531 million, representing an increase of 56.2 per cent year
over year. The purpose of this paper is to examine how Air Canada in 2011 successfully aligned
their business strategy and Information Technology (IT) by managing information resources on
several levels to accomplish a competitive advantage over other airline carriers and gain the
attention of their customers through innovation. Finally, this paper will address suggestions to
achieve better Business IT alignment to meet Air Canada s goals for the future and continued
success.
A significant step towards Air Canada s success was implementing a multiple vendor sourcing
strategy for IT. Utilizing their long time trusted partner, IBM, who was familiar with their
industry needs and company IT standards became the key liaison for expanding additional
technologies needed by other outside vendors. This newly expanded relationship between IBM
and Air Canada allowed for the airliner to concentrate on what they do best which is fly airplanes
and IBM to become an invested partner in the company s success towards innovation because they
were like an employee of Air Canada acting as their main IT sourcing vendor and consultant

Fuel Cell Disadvantages
Hydrogen fuel cells are an emerging technology that could be the next mass produced energy
source of the future. The application of hydrogen as a fuel source can be used to power cars,
homes, and even cell phones. Hydrogen is the most abundant molecule in the universe. The
most profound use for hydrogen fuel cells will be for vehicles. Hydrogen fuel cells will
revolutionize the automobile industry. Hydrogen fuel has been used by NASA since the early
1970s to launch space stations and other rockets into orbit (Renewable Energy World). A fuel
cell combines hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity, heat, and water. Fuel cells are often
compared to batteries. Both convert the energy produced by a chemical reaction into usable
electric power. However, the fuel cell will produce electricity as long as fuel (hydrogen) is
supplied, never losing its charge (Renewable Energy World). There has been a big push in recent
years for automobile companies to produce lower emission producing vehicles. Hydrogen fuel
cell powered vehicles can help to solve the issue. Hydrogen is clean burning, producing only
water vaper as waste. Hydrogen Fuel cell vehicles will be zero emission, reducing air pollution
(Bernard Meyerson). Fuel cell offer all the same benefits as conventional fuel powered cars with
cruising range up to 500 miles. To refill a take with hydrogen will take about three minutes, about
the same amount of time as traditional fuel fill ups. Down side is the first production of

her education of BSN in University of Colorado, 1964, Masters in University of Colorado, 1966,
and doctoral degree in University of Colorado, 1973. Jean Watson s Theory of Nursing Care is a
middle range theory that focuses on the interconnectedness of patient and nurse. Nurses play a vital

She uses the term carative to contrast with conventional medicine s curative factors. Her carative
factors attempt to honor the human dimensions of nursing s work and the inner life world and
subjective experiences of the people we serve . In all, the carative factors are comprised of 10
elements: 1. The formation of a humanistic altruistic system of values * Begins developmentally at
an early age with values shared with the parents. * Mediated through ones own life experiences, the
learning one gains and exposure to the humanities. * Is perceived as necessary to the nurse s own
maturation which then promotes altruistic behavior towards others. 2. Faith hope * Is essential to
both the carative and the curative processes. * When modern science has nothing further to offer
the person, the nurse can continue to use faith hope to provide a sense of well being through beliefs
which are meaningful to the individual. 3. Cultivation of sensitivity to one s self and to others *
Explores the need of the nurse to begin to feel an emotion as it presents itself. * Development of
one s own feeling is needed to interact genuinely and sensitively with others. * Striving to become
sensitive, makes the nurse more authentic, which encourages self growth and self actualization, in
both the nurse and those with whom the nurse interacts. * The nurses promote health and higher

Medicated Footwear Literature Review
Literature review
With the passage of time, the footwear problems are increasing more and more day by day.
Currently in Pakistan there is no local brand of medicated footwear. It has become a need of
people suffering from diseases related to footwear. The sole used in medicated footwear is
specially designed which provides comfort to the muscles and relieves stress or pain related to foot.
Most of the medicated footwear problems can be avoided using special insoles which are used in
the medicated footwear. The percentage of foot ulcers in diabetic patients are increasing with the
passage of time and the only natural and good way to avoid them is adopting the special medicated

Analysis Of Donald J. Trump
Donald J. Trump
By Rong Rong
Political Science 001

Professor Uranga
November 17, 2016
Introduction
I chose to write about candidate Donald J. Trump because his idea of improving economics,
creating more job opportunities and diminishing the gap between classes is favored by a large
number of people in middle class and lower class, who are important forces during the election. Not
believing in the American Dream claimed by Obama any longer, these people want to see
something solid and practical which can actually improve their lives. Trump may be a good choice
for they.
Message
With everything that Donald J. Trump has gone through in his past his main theme is that he was a
very successful business man on real property and other business interests worldwide, along with
his famous Trump Tower, casinos and hotels. To gain greater popularity, Trump joined TV show,
judged on beauty pageants and guest starred on TV dramas and movies. Overall, Little political
experience did he had in the past.
Image
Trump s image that comes to mind to most people at first is that he is a jerk, an old madman
who loves saying Reagan s make America great again . It seems that he can get annoyed very
easily and likes criticizing people. This characteristic is a two edged sword that it can be charming
to those who like him, but very undesirable to those who hate him. With zero experience on
politics, Trump s presidential nomination is considered a joke. In order to gain greater attention

Pay and reward systems exist in the form of pay, bonuses and benefits, financial and non financial
and designed to improve performance, increase motivation, staff retention and increase
profitability. Appreciation and gratitude is widely received as reward and the opportunity for
training and development for career progression. A good culture encompassing strong values,
vision, morale s and beliefs and behaviours expressed by employers and employees of an
organisation can be the driver of the overall performance of a company. A good culture can help
support the implementation of changes and new initiatives and are likely to be supported by those
involved. 2 External factors and there impacts: The economic climate surrounding a company can
determine many things and can have financial implications as well as affecting the levels
productivity. Economic growth can lead to a lack of employees available to fill positions because
the labor market is saturated with jobs. A company will look to offer higher wages, more benefits
and incentive programs to entice potential candidates and will invest in current employees with
training and development to help retain the staff and promote succession planning throughout the
company. A downturn in economic growth can have the opposite effect. Companies have a
tendency to cut the workforce to maintain profit margins, thus applying extra pressure to the
remaining employees, causing extra work loads, poor morale and a high

Adrian Peterson Case Study
Adrian Peterson turned himself in for abusing his four year old son on Saturday September
thirteenth. Peterson was charged with child abuse. Adrian Peterson can face up to two years in a
state jail and a one thousand dollar fine. Majority poll says Adrian Peterson should be benched
until the case is resolved.
I personally think Peterson should be suspended for at least six games. Peterson has the right to
discipline his child. Some people might say it is wrong but I don t agree with them. Some things I
don t agree with like Peterson hitting his son so many times.
A majority of the Minnesota Vikingsdisagree of how Peterson disciplined his child was wrong. Two
thirds of people say he should be released by the Vikings. Fifty seven percent of people say that

The league is going to give Peterson a heavy lengthy suspension. The child said he also has been

lawyer says he is a loving father who used his judgment to discipline his kid.
Adrian Peterson texted his sons mom and said that he feels bad. She asked why what happened. He
told her that when he hit his son the branch went around and hit his son in the testicles.
Adrian Peterson said he whooped his son in the car. The kids mom asked Peterson how that

The Payday Loan Information System
As soon as the information for the project was given to us, as a group, we took the initiative to
gather the information as soon as possible. The play we went to gather our payday loan
information was from Approved Money Center that is located on 700 S 14th Street, Suite B
Kingsville, Texas 78363. The number to Approved Money Center is (361) 592 8300 and we
spoke with Courtney Candelara, Associate, who has been working there for a year. This is her
first time working at this type of business. She is 24 years old and is form Annaville, Texas
which is located in Corpus Christi. This was all the information we could grab at the moment
because she was busy and allowed us to take a picture of the different types of loans they offered
and it contained all the information we needed.
The payday loans available include: A 14 day term payday loan. This means that the loan is
repayable after a period of 14 days. At the end of 14 days, the borrower is considered to have
default on the loan and subsequent charges come along with default. Default for less than 10 days
upon the end of the 14 days incurs charges that amount to no less than 5% of the loan. If the
default is more than 10 days, the borrower will have to pay an interest amount equivalent to $7.50.
At a bank the 14 day pay term period is also eligible to pay a fine of $30 for dishonoring the time
frame set to settle payment of automated clearing house debit. Upon of a guaranteed loan, the
collateral will be sold and the

Knights In The Canterbury Tales
People have fantasied for ages about how it was to be a knight in medieval times. Knights have
a huge reputation of being the heroes of impossible tales and for having a great admiration of
the women of the court. It s not hard to imagine why people have put so much historical
importance on knights and their heroic deeds. For how many people have slayed a dragon and
saved the princess from the short life of being a dragons mealtime appetizer. Many people have
tried to explain why knights did what they did but no one was able to explain it as well as
Geoffrey Chaucer. Chaucer uses the knights tale in his The Canterbury Tales to explain the complex
relationship between a knight and his woman of the courts.

of John Chaucer and Agnes Copton (Campion 571). John Chaucer was a successful wine

job as a page to the Countess of Ulster (Shmoop Editorial Team). Under her guidance he would

Midsummer Night s Dream Contrast
A Midsummer nights Dream is known as one of Shakespeare s most popular and most performed
plays worldwide. Although there are many versions of the play, they tend to stay true to the original
characters, setting, and them. However in Michael Hoffman s 1999 film version of A Midsummer
Night s Dream, he breaks the traditional rules by first changing the setting. Hoffman sends the
comedic action from ancient Athens to an imaginary Italian village named Monte Athena during the
nineteenth century. In this portrayal of the play, Duke Theseus is nothing but a tired and seemingly
unimportant bureaucrat, rather than a victorious hero as shown in the play. On the same note,
Hippolyta, Theseus s bride to be, previously referred to as the Queen of the... Show more content on

In particular this relates to Puck, who has been transformed from a mischievous fairy to a middle
aged lounge lizard. Puck is the closest thing to a protagonist in the play because he is responsible
for many of the complications that occur between the four lovers. Similarly, Titania loses much of
her previous complexity throughout the film. The play emphasizes the strong bonds of an ancient
female friendship that keep Titania from abandoning the Indian boy because she wants to care for
a deceased friend s son. Hermia and Helena s lives are also marked by strong friendships although
Demetrius who is in love with Hermia is also who Helena has fallen in love with. Hoffman does
stay true to the ideal of female friendship shown in the play, which is one of the reasons, why
relationship between Hermia, Helena, Hippoltya, and Titinia is understandable.
Although, Hoffman didn t change everything when he converted the play to a film, he did change
most of the major concepts. It is not certain why he changed much of the play, but one explanation
that fits is because he wanted to modernize it. A Midsummer Night s Dream was written in the
1590 s and the film was produced in 1999. Hoffman most likely felt that change was necessary for
modern audiences to understand. However, the outcome of Hoffman s changes is that the comical

Consequences Of The Mexican War
The Mexican war was a conflict between the United States and Mexico from 1846 to 1848. This
war had gone by various names such as Mexican War, Spanish Guerra de 1847, or Guerra de
Estados Unidos a Mexico. At this point in history, there were multiple people connected such as
James Polk, Abraham Lincoln, and Frederick Douglass. Additional parties that were involved
included the northeasterners, Santa Anna and the Mexican Government, and the modern day
Mexican people. This battle brought a numerous amount of casualties and left a cascade of broken
tides. There were over 10,000 people dead and over 3,000 people who had been wounded. The
Mexican American war left behind memories of the redeeming qualities between the United States

Misconceptions About Wolves
Many have heard of the famous fairytale, Little Red Riding Hood, in which wolves are portrayed
as evil beings, that have no intention of affection for humans but instead, the instant thought of
hunger, of devouring the individual whole. This story makes one wonder whether wolves are
lovely or evil creatures. In Idaho, West America, a lengthy debate is currently being battled out
about the gray wolves which now remain in small numbers, reported as 1600. These wolves
according to some groups need to be secured, with other opinions that suggest otherwise. Some
stakeholders who are situated in the same location and are in favour of the wolves, include the Nez

Money Expended In Electoral Campaigns
It is a reality universally agreed upon that there is a baseless aggregate of wealth that is expended in
electoral campaigns in the United States of America. One does not need to investigate any further
than the previous federal election, where the unmitigated sum of affluence was greater than the vox
populi of Earth, to comprehend the actuality that the immersion of money in politics has developed
into a concern that must be amended. Furthermore, if this issue is permitted to continue, then the
entire American campaign system remains tainted due to the fact that the politician with more
wealth is able to propagandize better. It is essential that the regulations of campaign finance are
reformed in the United States; for in modern politics, money has an abundant amount of influence

The Debate Over Time Resistance From Ignorance And Fear
Over time resistance to change is replaced by the adoration of beauty through scientific inquiry.
Resistance to change springs from ignorance and fear. People rejected Galileo s heliocentric
model of the universe without even studying the science (177). People would have rather falsely
believed that they were at the center of creation then have to admit that they were the third
planet from the sun. They rejected Galileo s new discovery out of fear and embellished
themselves in their ignorance. Their ignorance lead them further and further from the truth and
its beauty. They even adopted false ideas about the bible and thus distorted an important part of
their life (Galileo, 177). A life of resistance is dangerous because it causes one to flee from the
truth and live in ignorance and lies. People have tried to help save others form the dangers of
resisting change. Galileo tried to correct the false ideas and misconceptions people had about his
heliocentric model. He stressed that the bible was meant for salvation and not explaining nature
(Galileo 182). He also stated that if each word of the bible was taken literally then it would
contradict itself and would anthropomorphize God, who is supposed to be above human form and
nature (Galileo 181). He made efforts to end their resistance by showing them that they had no way
of rejecting the truth and that their false arguments were destructive to their faith. He told them a
better way of looking at the bible to help them get

Analysis Of The Film Thief Of Bagdad
One thing the film did not do so well was an accurate representation of the Arabian people.
There was a great deal of obvious race bending going on amongst the main leads. Maybe this
could be chalked up to a lack of Arab actors or inherent racism in Hollywood at the time,
however, most of the main characters were portrayed by Caucasian actors. John Justin
and Conrad Veidt, portray the lead characters of Jaffar and Ahmad the sultan in brownface,
whereas Sabu is Indian and portrays an Arabian thief. Throughout the film, I could not help but
get a sense of how the Arabian culture was being romanticized through a Western lens. I could
almost argue that, had this film been directed by someone of a different race other than
Caucasian, the outcome and casting decisions for main leads would most likely have been
different due to wanting to attain a higher level of cultural authenticity.
The Thief of Bagdad was directed by non AAPI filmmakers Ludwig Berger, Michael Powell
and Tim Whelan. Given this information, I can see how someone as a director would want to
glamorize a culture in order to make it more visually appealing to audiences despite it being
culturally inaccurate. At the time, Asians were still very much underrepresented in film and many
roles would be lost to Caucasian actors so as to resonate with American audiences. It is
fair to argue that had this film been handled by someone who shared the culture, certain
directions would have

Roman Religion And The Roman Empire
The Roman Empire is one of the most well known countries in recorded history. And this is
primarily because it continues to awe people via it s architecture, military, art, philosophy, and
technology. But one of the greatest footprints Ancient Rome has left for us to study and admire is
its culture. As in any society, culture in the Roman Empirewas of great importance. The Romans had
many beliefs, behaviors, and customs, but one of the things that stood out the most in their culture
was their religion. Roman religion is no longer in practice (Scheid and Lloyd 1). However, the
enthusiasm that it s followers had still exists today. Ever since the time that Roman religion was
just the religion of one city in the Mediterranean region (RГјpke 3), people have always been
marveled by the interesting and spectacular uniqueness of Rome s religion that has survived
throughout the decades of human curiosity.
The Roman religion, as most other religions, was based entirely on the gods. Therefore, to
understand the Roman religion one has to understand the Roman beliefs concerning the gods.
Out of all the gods in the Roman religion, Jupiter was the most important one (Cavazzi). Jupiter
was the ruler of the gods and the major god of the Romans, and was known to hold thunderbolts
which he could use as a weapon from the sky (Cavazzi). Next to the most respected entity was
Juno, or the wife of Jupiter, she was known as the goddess of women and as the goddess of fertility
(Cavazzi). A

The Current State Of The Cambodian Traditional Music...
Although the scholarly research is able to see the current state of the Cambodian traditional music
revival and the large impact of cultural music education, it fails to see the external benefits of this
music that promotes a culture of peace, global citizenship, and appreciation of cultural diversity and
its contribution to sustainable development.29 This cultural benefit is one of the biggest answers to
the question of why this musiceducation and the survival of traditional music is important. Despite
the lack of coverage this element receives from most scholarly research, it has been widely
recognized by United Nations, the NGOs working in these projects, and through regular reporting
from onlookers. First of all, UNESCO recognized the importance of traditional Khemer performing
arts and the education of those arts through several projects.30 Secondy, the NGOs who work on
teaching traditional music have reported therapeutic values that their students have gained, leading
to a more sustainable lifestyle for those affected by the trauma that has impacted Cambodia.31
Outside writers have also observed the ways in which music education and revival can positively
impact the country in the aforementioned ways.
Between 2001 2002, UNESCO, along with Japan Funds in Trust implemented a project known as

Analysis Of Bullet In The Brain
A man faced with his fatality will quiver and beg for mercy. Anders, from Bullet in the Brain , is
unique in that he faces death with laughter and sarcasm. The short story by Tobias Wolff portrays
a man named Anders being shot during a bank robbery after ignoring the threats of the robbers (In
Text Cite). Through descriptions of the protagonist and his speech with other characters, Anders
shows signs of schizophrenia. Before the shooting, the narrator describes Anders and his
interactions with other people at the bank. In the first paragraph, Anders looks at the two women
in front of him with a murderous temper (In Text Cite) and is described as criticizing books with
savagery (In Text Cite). Anders is also angry with the girl in front of him when she whines about
the teller closing their window, telling her she is overdramatic. Most people would be slightly
annoyed with these interactions, but murder would never come to mind.
The robbers and their interaction further support the idea that Anders is crazy. When the robbers
enter the bank, they wearing blue business suits. Blue often represents sadness, which is a common
symptom burdened upon those with schizophrenia. When the robbers begin threatening the
hostages, Anders tells the woman, Great script, eh? (In Text Cite). This line shows an inappropriate
response to the threat presented. Normal individuals would panic at the sight of a gun, but Anders
seems to think the robbery is a joke or a game. Anders also

Descriptive Essay About Mamaw s House
A majority of my favorite days were spent at Mamaw s house. When I think about that rustic
white house sitting in the middle of that vast farm, I think of it as a place where I am myself, and
it is a place where my family and I create the most fun filled memories. Mamaw s house has been
the setting of quite a few hilarious and heartwarming stories over the years. Ever since my family
had bought the farm, it has been our family gathering place. Mamaw s house hosts anything from
birthday parties to Thanksgiving dinners to family reunions. Out of all the precious memories I
have from that house, there are a few that are especially near and dear to my heart.

The warm, summer air s aroma was a mix of fresh grass, flowers, and dog. Mom and I went inside

After everyone arrived, my nephew and I went outside to set up our chairs and see if the moon
had concealed the sun at all. WOW! , my nephew said as we both looked at the sun to see a little
chunk of it being covered. Later on, when all of us were outside looking to the sky as totality

my chair, I glanced over to him and saw him sitting in my chair! I tried to sit down, but instead I
fell to the ground. Everyone started busting out laughing like a pack of hyenas, including me. I sat
on the ground for a moment admiring my surroundings. The sky was a light, denim blue with a
slight orange cast along the horizon; the lighting outside had shifted from bright to a candlelight
glow. Because I had fell, I missed the corona and diamond ring phase of the solar eclipse. However,
I still enjoyed the once in a lifetime experience with my family, even though I missed the most
beautiful part of the eclipse. When I m older, I ll look back and cherish thprecious family moments
that helped me realize just how important family is. As mentioned earlier, when my aunt, uncle, and

throughout their lives. Rex Walls will support and provide for his family for a period of time and
then allow his job and their money to quickly wither away. As the children age they instantaneously
learn to provide for themselves while away from home. Jeannette starts fending for herself by
digging through the trashcans in the bathrooms during and after lunch. After finding herself food,
she pulls her feet up onto the toilet and eats quietly so no one would catch her. Clearly she learns

We see that how the myth has influenced the society and how badly it has affected the speaker
that she carries a sense of guilt for having a female body. She empties her body in an attempt to

Serbian Nationalism And Identity Of A Nation State s...
Perhaps one of the biggest points of contention in Serbia is nationalism and identity. Serbian
nationalism is especially unique due to its particular ethnic implications. It can be traced back to
the rise of nationalism in the Balkans during Ottoman rule. Serbia has existed between various
empires and nation states. Many Serbians voice the need for self autonomy, often citing being ruled
by outsiders for hundreds of years. Today Serbiaseen by its people as an unfinished state. Thus, the
need for creating autonomous identity is especially relevant.1 Ristic in her essay on Serbian
identity, that the formation of a nation state s identity is crucial to its wellbeing. In general, identity
is built upon three essential interdependent elements: 1. birth, which creates ties to family, nation
and to a concrete geographical space; 2. culture, which forms individuals and groups spiritually and
emotionally; 3. acceptance of common values which help creating communities of values. Hence
identity can be determined on the basis of the following categories: place of living (town or district
of town, country, continent etc), religion, family, profession, nation, age class, ideology etc.2
The problem with Serbian national identity is that there is not enough security in the
aforementioned criterion historically. Ristic states that defining national identity upon values and
ideology leads in Serbia to two relatively opposite understandings of national identity and the values
and norms

18th Century Music
During the 18th century, music was used as a social enhancement on the rising middle class who
showed interest in intellectual ideals of Enlightenment. The rising middle class were people who
would come between the working class and the upper class. Such as craftsman, bankers, and
merchants. These select few decided that since they can now afford some of life s pleasures, that
they would spend it on music that aristocrats and nobility would listen to. While on the other hand,
during the 19th century, music began to develop a more story base theme with a moral lesson. Such
as Ballets and Grand Operas. So basically, during the 18th 19th century, music has evolved from just
sound or noise to a elegant and graceful story played through musical notation with different
musical instruments while advancing the growth of the middle class.
To begin with , the 18th century was the Classical era. In which music had order, symmetry, and
formal restraint. Composers such as Franz Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ludwig
van Beethoven began creating music that pulled away from music that was mainly created for
churches. This secular music they created became entertainment for the aristocrats and the nobility.
A composer by the name of Johann Stamitz organized one of preliminary forms of the classical
orchestra. This orchestra consisted of the string section, the woodwind section, the brass section,
and the percussion section. The largest of the orchestra was called a symphony.

Public Grievances With Emphasis On Administrative Law Essay
The government of a country has been understood to be of vital importance for purposes of
stability, responsibility, and accountability of the nation. China s government is no less different
from this important context. With the complex structure of China s government, scholars have
argued that the government s function, with its high favorability rate, is an interesting dynamic that

of their government. Part I of this paper shall outline the history and creation of administrative law
in China. With the creation of administrative law, there was a notion to differentiate Civil

to articulate his emotions. This is because I just accepted for what Andre had to say. Though if I
were to have been more surprise or impressed I would most likely be more impressed. This is

Knowledge In Frankenstein
Frankenstein; or The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley tells an interesting tale of a young
scientist and his attempt to create life and the unfortunate circumstances that occur afterwards. He
creates a monster and almost immediately abandons his creature due to the creature s horrifying
nature. Three years later in Frankensteins life, the monster reunites with Frankenstein and explains
to Frankenstein the monster s coming of knowledge in this world and we learn about how the
monster has come to see himself and the world around him. This is different to what could have
happened if Frankenstein had been there as a mentor, instead the monster depended his views on
the family he watched and books he read such as John Milton s Paradise Lost. It... Show more

Most of it does come from the monster s threats to Frankenstein and his family, but Frankenstein
does feel some sympathy for this creature that he brought to life and abandoned and sets off to
create a female companion. As he does, Frankenstein begins to reflect on his process in creating the
first monster.
Three years before I was engaged in the same manner, and had created a fiend whose unparalleled
barbarity had desolated my heart, and filled it for ever with the bitterest remorse. I was now about
to form another being, of whose dispositions I was alike ignorant; she might become ten thousand
times more malignant than her mate, and delight, for its own sake, in murder and wretchedness

Health Insurance System
In the United States, there are three basic systems in which healthcare are financed: private
insurance, public insurance, and uninsured. Within private and public insurance, there are several
different types of plans that assist in financing health care. Private health insurance utilizes various
healthcare providers to provide cost sharing in receiving healthcare services through benefits
provided by employers or for premiums (Shi Singh, 2015). Some examples of healthcare providers
are commercial insurance companies, self insured businesses, and managed care organizations (Shi
Singh, 2015). Each healthcare provider outlines the coverage benefits, individual out of pocket
requirements, and limitations through an insurance contract or plan... Show more content on

This type of insurance is financed through governmental entities for the elderly, disabled
individuals, low income individuals or families, underprivileged children, Native Americans, and
military members and their families (Shi Singh, 2015). Depending on the services, individuals may
be required to pay a co payment dependent on the program and the financial abilities of the
individual or family (Shi Singh, 2015). The advantage of public health insurance is providing high
risk individuals and their families or veterans and their families with health insurance plans for
health care services at a discount or gratis. Many high risk individuals and their families would
not be able to afford health care services because of the lack of income or ability to work. Also,
one of the benefits of serving in the military is the health care supported by the government for
protecting the country. The disadvantage of public health insurance is the limitation of funds and
services subsidized by the government. Each of these programs are limited by eligibility
requirements, approved health care services, and the budget sustained by governmental

The application of hydrogen as a fuel source can be used to power cars, homes, and even cell phones. Hydrogen is the most abundant molecule in the universe. The most profound use for hydrogen fuel cells will be for vehicles. Hydrogen fuel cells will revolutionize the automobile industry. Hydrogen fuel has been used by NASA since the early 1970s to launch space stations and other rockets into orbit (Renewable Energy World). A fuel cell combines hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity, heat, and water. Fuel cells are often compared to batteries. Both convert the energy produced by a chemical reaction into usable electric power. However, the fuel cell will produce electricity as long as fuel (hydrogen) is supplied, never losing its charge (Renewable Energy World). There has been a big push in recent years for automobile companies to produce lower emission producing vehicles. Hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles can help to solve the issue. Hydrogen is clean burning, producing only water vaper as waste. Hydrogen Fuel cell vehicles will be zero emission, reducing air pollution (Bernard Meyerson). Although there are many versions of the play, they tend to stay true to the original characters, setting, and them. However in Michael Hoffman s 1999 film version of A Midsummer Night s Dream, he breaks the traditional rules by first changing the setting. Hoffman sends the comedic action from ancient Athens to an imaginary Italian village named Monte Athena during the nineteenth century. In this portrayal of the play, Duke Theseus is nothing but a tired and seemingly unimportant bureaucrat, rather than a victorious hero as shown in the play. In particular this relates to Puck, who has been transformed from a mischievous fairy to a middle aged lounge lizard. Puck is the closest thing to a protagonist in the play because he is responsible for many of the complications that occur between the four lovers. Similarly, Titania loses much of her previous complexity throughout the film. The play emphasizes the strong bonds of an ancient female friendship that keep Titania from abandoning the Indian boy because she wants to care for a deceased friend s son. Hermia and Helena s lives are also marked by strong friendships although Demetrius who is in love with Hermia is also who Helena has fallen in love with. Hoffman does stay true to the ideal of female friendship shown in the play, which is one of the reasons, why relationship between Hermia, Helena, Hippoltya, and Titinia is understandable. Although, Hoffman didn t change everything when he converted the play to a film, he did change most of the major concepts. It is not certain why he changed much of the play, but one explanation that fits is because he wanted to modernize it. One does not need to investigate any further than the previous federal election, where the unmitigated sum of affluence was greater than the vox populi of Earth, to comprehend the actuality that the immersion of money in politics has developed into a concern that must be amended. Furthermore, if this issue is permitted to continue, then the entire American campaign system remains tainted due to the fact that the politician with more wealth is able to propagandize better. Resistance to change springs from ignorance and fear. People rejected Galileo s heliocentric model of the universe without even studying the science (177). People would have rather falsely believed that they were at the center of creation then have to admit that they were the third planet from the sun. They rejected Galileo s new discovery out of fear and embellished themselves in their ignorance. Their ignorance lead them further and further from the truth and its beauty. They even adopted false ideas about the bible and thus distorted an important part of their life (Galileo, 177). A life of resistance is dangerous because it causes one to flee from the truth and live in ignorance and lies. People have tried to help save others form the dangers of resisting change. Galileo tried to correct the false ideas and misconceptions people had about his heliocentric model. He stressed that the bible was meant for salvation and not explaining nature (Galileo 182). He also stated that if each word of the bible was taken literally then it would contradict itself and would anthropomorphize God, who is supposed to be above human form and nature (Galileo 181). • 20. Analysis Of The Film Thief Of Bagdad One thing the film did not do so well was an accurate representation of the Arabian people. There was a great deal of obvious race bending going on amongst the main leads. Maybe this could be chalked up to a lack of Arab actors or inherent racism in Hollywood at the time, however, most of the main characters were portrayed by Caucasian actors. John Justin and Conrad Veidt, portray the lead characters of Jaffar and Ahmad the sultan in brownface, whereas Sabu is Indian and portrays an Arabian thief. Throughout the film, I could not help but get a sense of how the Arabian culture was being romanticized through a Western lens. I could almost argue that, had this film been directed by someone of a different race other than Caucasian, the outcome and casting decisions for main leads would most likely have been different due to wanting to attain a higher level of cultural authenticity. The Thief of Bagdad was directed by non AAPI filmmakers Ludwig Berger, Michael Powell and Tim Whelan. Given this information, I can see how someone as a director would want to glamorize a culture in order to make it more visually appealing to audiences despite it being culturally inaccurate. At the time, Asians were still very much underrepresented in film and many roles would be lost to Caucasian actors so as to resonate with American audiences. But one of the greatest footprints Ancient Rome has left for us to study and admire is its culture. As in any society, culture in the Roman Empirewas of great importance. The Romans had many beliefs, behaviors, and customs, but one of the things that stood out the most in their culture was their religion. Roman religion is no longer in practice (Scheid and Lloyd 1). However, the enthusiasm that it s followers had still exists today. Ever since the time that Roman religion was just the religion of one city in the Mediterranean region (RГјpke 3), people have always been marveled by the interesting and spectacular uniqueness of Rome s religion that has survived throughout the decades of human curiosity. The Roman religion, as most other religions, was based entirely on the gods. Therefore, to understand the Roman religion one has to understand the Roman beliefs concerning the gods. Out of all the gods in the Roman religion, Jupiter was the most important one (Cavazzi). Jupiter was the ruler of the gods and the major god of the Romans, and was known to hold thunderbolts which he could use as a weapon from the sky (Cavazzi).
