Women Entrepreneurs And Social Incubators Essay
In this chapter literature on women entrepreneurs and social incubators is discussed. It also explains
the conceptual framework and conceptual map of the study..
2.1 Concept of Women Entrepreneur
Women or a group of women who initiate, organize and operates a business enterprise is defined as
Women Entrepreneurs . The Government of India has defined women entrepreneurs as an enterprise
owned and controlled by women having a minimum financial interest of 51 per cent of the capital and
giving at least 51 per cent of the employment generated in the enterprise to women. Women
Entrepreneur is a person who accepts challenging role to meet her personal needs and become
economically independent (Meenu Goyal and Jai Prakash, 2011, pp. ). In India, these entrepreneurs
are part of the larger sustainable development strategy employed by the policymakers. Evidence
shows that Women entrepreneurship has already contributed to the economic growth across the world
and women led enterprises are increasing in every country.. These enterprises also created a large
number of job opportunities in their respective economies. Apart from this, these enterprises also
created new business solutions for the pressing social problems.Further in whole enterprises scenario,
number of enterprises owned by women is very less compared to men. Government of India has
implemented various schemes for development of such enterprises but impact is yet to be seen. Over

PART 2: Redox Reactions
Combination reactions
A1.Work under the hood! With a pair of tongs, hold a strip of magnesium in a bunsen burner flame.
Do not look directly at the flame. Save the ash in a small beaker for the next procedure. If magnesium
is substance A in the general equation, what is B ?
A2. Add a dropperful of distilled water and a drop of phenolphthalein. The phenolphthalein is only an
indicator for the presence of hydroxide ion and does not enter into the equation. Decomposition
reactions
B1. Work under the hood! Weigh out exactly 0.1 g of ammonium dichromate and add to a test tube.
Clamp and warm gently with a Bunsen burner. Two of the products of this reaction are
chromium(III)oxide and nitrogen gas. Watch for evidence of the third product.
B2.Place a few crystals of copper(II)sulfate pentahydrate in a test tube. Clamp the tube and heat in a
horizontal position. One of the products is copper(II)sulfate. What is the other one? This
decomposition reaction is easily reversible. Add a dropperful of water to the tube when it cools.
Record what happens.
Replacement reactions
C1.Work under the hood! Place a piece of zinc in a test tube. Add about 5 mL of 6 M HCl and allow
the zinc to effervesce. Ignite a wooden splint in a Bunsen burner flame and hold this flame to the

2015 CIS 580 Arsalan Hafiz 01498800 Introduction: Programming advancement is a lavish, and
regularly a troublesome methodology. It is all around recorded that product activities are ordinarily
over timetable, over spending plan and regularly don t meet client prerequisites. The fundamental
issues are all connected with individual s related issues. To address this issue, the Agile theory was
presented in the mid 90 s with a related arrangement of Agile routines. These techniques are
particularly intended to enhance programming venture group administration. Readiness in short
intends to strip away however much of the largeness, generally connected with conventional
programming advancement techniques, as could be expected, so as to elevate speedy reaction to

Ford Motor Company Marketing Strategy Essay
Ford Motor Company Marketing Strategy
Ford Motor Company is one of the world s largest producers of cars and trucks and one of the largest
providers of automotive financial services marketing vehicles under the eight brands shown below.
The Company is a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. During 2002, the
company made 6.7 million vehicles and employed 328,000 people worldwide. Business partners

Now all car companies work very hard to find out what people really want from cars, and they try to
build cars to fit the preferences. Market research uses all the same empirical tools as experimental
psychology, but with larger research budgets, better defined questions, more representative samples of
people, and more impact. Ideally, marketing s empiricism works like Rogerian psychotherapy: it holds
up a mirror to ourselves, reflecting our beliefs and desires so we can recognize, remember, evaluate,
and transform them.
Ford Motor Company is undergoing a transformation that is putting their customers at the center of
everything they do. Their vision is to be the world s leading consumer company for automotive
products and services. That requires a much different headset than that of a traditional automobile
manufacturer one that concentrates intensely on the people who buy and use their products.
Obviously, they had had a pretty good idea of what their customers wanted in the past, or we wouldn t
be approaching our 100th anniversary.
For nearly a century, Ford Motor Company has worked to improve people s lives and be a responsible
and valuable member of the community. In recent years, they have expanded and accelerated their
corporate citizenship efforts, and worked to integrate them into their overall business strategy.
But today s customer and today s competition requires a deeper level of understanding. Traditional

Summer Sleep-Away Camps
Summer Time Fun As adults, we spend a lot of time away from our family and friends due to work or
other priorities in our life. We learn to adapt and keep going through these times of being away and
this can make us a greater person. Summer sleep away camp is much like a longer version of a
sleepover and can be a great head start for children who may not be away from their family and
friends much. This leads me to feel that summer sleep away camps have positive effects on children
and should even be considered important to the development of a child.
For me, the biggest reason for summer sleep away camps is to help the child develop more. Camps
offer more life experience that are likely to come up in later adulthood. For instance, when I was
younger I went to a camp for a whole month! I was terrified of being away from my parents for that
long, however I overcame this fear and I was able to gain many great experiences and tools I use
today. One thing I improved on was swimming during my time at ... Show more content on

While it is true the child will miss some time with their friends and families, they will however be
making new friends and new memories. These new memories and friends may even allow the child to
show their friends and family new ideas and tricks that improve family life. The child gains new
friends and this is a positive effect especially if the child struggled before with making friends, or even
if the child is shy this is a benefit because they are meeting others who will have something in
common with them.
Going to a sleep away camp is a very beneficial thing for children of all ages. They allow children to
gain new life experiences, new friends, and a better outlook toward adulthood. This in turn can lead to
a better life for the child and their family. Summer sleep away camps should be a very serious
consideration for any child.

Why I Want To Pursue A Career In High School
Throughout my high school career I have been involved in numerous extra curricular activities. I have
had the opportunity to meet brilliant, well rounded staff, faculty, and students. All of these people have
had a massive impact on my life. As a freshman I did not have a passion for any career field and felt
indifferent about college. As a senior, I have learned about who I am and what I can do for others. I
learned that I have a passion for helping children excel as both athletes and students. I learned that I
love working with computers. I found out how much I love being on a team and participating in
sports. As a senior at GNBVT, I ve gained important life skills that will help me peruse whatever

I am writing this paper to inform my reader of lifestyles that can contribute to PAD My audience will

I need to know can this disease be prevented?
Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) is a secondary result of atherosclerosis and it can develop in any of
your arteries. When atherosclerosis affects your arms and legs, it is called Peripheral Artery Disease.
Atherosclerosis is when the arteries become clogged with clumps of fat, cholesterol and other material
called atherosclerotic plaques which causes the arteries to become hard and narrow. These plaques can
make arteries so narrow that less blood flows through. You feel pain because your leg muscles are not
getting enough oxygenated blood. Oxygen is the fuel that muscles need to contract. Oxygen is also
needed to keep your cells living and when oxygen is not present your cells began to die.
I am writing this paper because our family is dealing with my dear grandmother who is suffering from
PAD. She has been in daily pain for over 2 years now and the disease is progressing rapidly. My
mother, who is my grandmother s caregiver, has been living with her for about two years: caring for

Homelessness In Canada
When people think of Canada, they likely imagine a prospering country filled with equal opportunity,
safety, and security. While this statement can be true for the population of privileged white people,
Canada, unfortunately, has had some unproud moments in its history, and sadly, the treatment of
minorities is still poor today. Specifically, there has been historic problems between Canada and
indigenous people, from as early as the colonization of the land stolen from the indigenous people to
the assimilation of youth with residential schools. The land that is proudly called Canada today, once
was the home to many aboriginal tribes including the East Indies, before it was stolen by colonizers
(Vikings, French, and Europeans) as early as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Local forces should operate with transparency and work on a foundation of equity and equality, to
ensure all demographics are safe and protected, without bias or discrimination. Unfortunately, there
have been many incidents in Canada, where police forces denied the issue and showed racism in their
operations. Culhane (2003) claimed that in East Vancouver alone, a minimum of 61 women has been
reported missing since 1983. When these reports were made to the local police, they were ignored and
not taken seriously which contradicts the duties that the police service should provide. Attention was
not brought to these reports until the Philip Owens, Vancouver mayor, ordered the police to investigate
these concerns (Culhane 2003). After the local forces took control and started investigating, this issue
started getting more and more coverage in academics, and media, convicts were finally being arrested
for their wrongdoing. While this action did not solve the problem, it was successful in initiating a
conversation that was not previously had, which was a significant movement for acknowledging the
crisis. This shows how progress can be made with smaller centralized action, however, it also
demonstrates the importance that superior governing forces play, the ideal solution would be for the
federal government to prompt and encourage local forces to foster this issue within

Tacoma Narrows Bridge
The Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Washington State had taken three years to complete its building
process. It experienced a terrible fate as it collapsed only four months after final construction. During
its short existence only vertical vibrations of the bridge were noticed, and the bridge became famously
known as Galloping Gertie due to the swaying of the roadway under high wind conditions. A positive
correlation was observed between the wind s speeds and the bridge s vibrations in certain tests, yet
contradictory results are also in existence which prove no correlation between the two. Tourists who
paid the bridge toll to venture across the swaying bridge, encompassed by seemingly disappearing
vehicles, often considered this bridge a roller coaster ride with a riding fee tacked on. ... Show more

As a replacement for the ferry system in place to venture across the Tacoma Narrows, the 2,800 feet
long bridge was created. However, in an attempt to make the bridge more cost effective, it was built
with an unusual design for a suspension bridge an extremely thin frame of only thirty nine feet. This
created sufficient space for only two lanes on the roadway. Originally, the bridge was supposed to be
made more sturdy through the addition of trusses, yet there were inadequate funds. As a result, a
cheaper alternative 8 foot girders were added on. They were included on the entire expanse of the
bridge. However, there was not a sufficient stiffening effect created on the bridge by these girders.
There was not enough research in existence on aerodynamic stability for suspension bridges, and wind
tunneling/aerodynamic lift was thus not properly accounted

The Influence Of Voting In The United States Of America
The United States of America is one of the few countries that give its citizens a unique opportunity
and that is to vote. Many other countries give its citizens the right to vote, however America is
different due to the fact that its citizens vote for everything, from their local government to their
president. With power this great, it gives more reason to become and informed voter. Each state has
congressional districts that are made by the population. Each district has around 711,000 people. Each
district gets one representative in the House of Representatives. For example, Portland Connecticut is
part of the 1st congressional district in Connecticut. Their representative is John Larson. The 1st
congressional district of Connecticut spans over multiple counties including multiple major cities, and
example would be East and West Hartford, Hartford being the capital of Connecticut. Other cities
include Middletown and Manchester, all which are highly populated and the towns have large impacts
on Connecticut s economy.
John Larson
John Larson was born July 22, 1948 in Hartford, Connecticut. He went to Central Connecticut State
University. In 1999 he was elected into office as a representative for Connecticut s 1st congressional
district. In his position there is an election every 2 years. John Larson works in the House of
Representative, which is part of the legislative branch. Their job includes passing laws and originating
and spending bills. Larson has been constantly winning re election. During his election periods he gets
the majority of the votes when he is up against 2 3 competitors. Looking at voting past he has been
winning every reelection by at least around 60%. An important fact to note is that Larson is a
democrat.
The 1st congressional district
Undoubtedly, the 1st congressional district of Connecticut leans towards a democratic government.
This is based off of the fact that John Larson has been winning reelection since 1999 along with the
fact that he has won the majority of the votes for each reelection. Even before John Larson the past
few representatives have been democrats, for example Barbra B. Kennelly and William R. Cotter have
all been democrats. In fact, this district has been voting

What Is The Labyrinth Of Survival
Jorge Luis Borges once stated, There is no need to build a labyrinth when the entire universe is one. In
other words, universe is full of obscurity which is easy to get lost in. That s why I agree with him. We

is a labyrinth of survival itself without knowing what we are surviving from or what we are surviving

Usefulness Of The Future Managers
Usefulness to the Future Managers
Over the recent past, many workers have developed a liking for startups over established corporate
jobs. The workers do not want to get fixed by rigid laws and hierarchical structure. The trend has both
risks and benefits. One of the risks is that the startup organizations do not give proper attention to the
human resources. Moreover, the startups may violate one or more aspects of the employment law. The
book is useful in training prospective future managers and employers since the workplace
discrimination scenario is a rapidly changing issue that requires a more intellectual approach. The
risks of violating the discrimination rules are devastating to both the employer and organization.
Knowledge is power, and the prospective managers will gain the knowledge surrounding employment
discrimination and harassment and are thus informed of the possible penalties for violating such laws.
The book also gives the potential managers the ability to interpret the laws governing a certain topic in
the contemporary business life. Additionally, the book enlightens the potential managers about the
existing legal bodies that address issues such as workplace discrimination. The students can get more
information not covered in the classroom or the book from these bodies. One such body is the United

Media and The Agenda Setting Theory
According to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, section 11d, the accused is to be
presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law in a fair and public hearing by an independent
and impartial tribunal (Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, 1982). Despite the right to one s
innocence preceding a fair and public trial, the indicted typically receives mass media coverage,
making the individual susceptible to the opinion s of the public. This is especially true in the case of a
renowned individual, such as a celebrity or politician. The media s coverage of the news, prior to a fair
hearing, results in public scrutiny of subjects. Media involvement generates public uproar, frequently
resulting in the condemning of the accused preceding their right to a fair trial as stated in the Canadian
Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Not only is an individual s right, according to the charter, to be
presumed innocent jeopardized by the media but also their assumed right to a private life is put into
question.
Agenda Setting Theory
Agenda Setting Theory refers to the media s ability to influence the significance of topics to the
public. Agenda setting allows for the establishment of public awareness to issues made relevant by
media. There are two assumptions underlying the agenda setting theory (McCombs Shaw, 1972).
Firstly, the media s portrayal of an event does not necessarily reflect reality; rather the media filters
and shapes the news. Secondly, the infiltration of

New Zealand is an island country in the South Western Pacific Ocean and it is located east of

Many tourists visit New Zealand just to see and experience their culture. In a report from
Kwintessential.co.uk, it is written: A Maori will spontaneously launch into speech and song. Even
though they may not have met each other, they will know many songs they can sing together and often
use these to close or enhance speeches. They will often call for visitors to do the same and it would be
wise to have 2 or 3 practiced songs from your own country to reply with.
In addition to the Maoris speeches and songs, they have a dance called Haka . It is an ancient war
dance used on the battlefield and when groups came together in peace. According to newzealand.com,
the dance include violent foot stamping, tongue protrusions and rhythmic body slapping to accompany
a loud chant. It shows a tribe s pride, strength and unity. New Zealand s rugby team All Blacks,
performs the Haka dance to challenge the opponents on the sports field before their matches

Another big part of the Maoris culture, is art. Their visual art consists of weaving, carving, tattooing
and painting. According to Wikipedia.org, their art is highly spiritual and the creation of art is
governed by the rules of Tapu. There are a lot of different styles of art, and they vary from region to
region. The most common and traditional art is highly stylized and featured motifs such as the spiral,

natural settings and include tools such as running records and anecdotal notes. This research paper will
focus on formative assessments that have been standardized and will answer the questions of what,
why and how. Assessments, based on my understanding, can be simplified into three different areas
and each area is essential to the overall success of children as they become adults. The areas are
considered to be the purposes of assessment . The three areas include screening assessment, diagnostic
assessment and also instructional assessment. When thinking of using assessments in Early Childhood
Education the important key questions to focus on is why, what and how. Why means knowing why an
assessment is needed. For what purpose is the assessment being used? What means deciding on what
type of assessment should be used, in what situation. First, will it be an informal assessment? Or a
formal assessment? And last is how the assessment will be used. This includes the setting, time and
the process of the assessment. Understanding the key questions of why, what and how is

A Comparison Of Love In Hero And Claudio In Much Ado About...
Do you believe that two people who just met can really fall in love ? In the book Much Ado About
Nothing by William Shakespeare, the two main characters, Hero and Claudio, are thought to be in
love. Claudio and Hero are not actually in love because they just met, with no prior knowledge of each
other, and were easily able to move on after their marriage failed.
To start, at the beginning of the story Claudio and Hero had just met, yet they already seemed to start
catch feelings for one another. Claudio says, ... All prompting me how fair young Hero is, saying I lik

Improving service quality to meet customers standards is an ongoing part of doing business. In this
way, customers drive the market and the organization. At the same time that organizations act to
attract and satisfy customers, the customers themselves exercise ultimate influence. Their satisfaction
depends on both their expectations and their treatment. Through their choices, customers decide which
organizations survive and thrive, determine what goods and services are available, and shape how they
are provided. In addition to using their purchasing power, informed consumers can shape the
marketplace by communicating their preferences and standards to organizations that are poised to
listen and respond.
Contents of This Paper
For both service providers and consumers, making customer satisfaction a priority involves a
fundamental shift in thinking, organizing and acting. The customer satisfaction framework proposed in
this paper explores the potential of a customer satisfaction orientation as a means for improving the
goods and services, including those provided by the public sector, available to residents of tough
neighborhoods. This paper describes the ideas and research underlying the framework and potential
strategies for moving from concepts to action.

Analysis Of The Book Harry Potter
Abstract
In this paper I did research throughout all seven books of J.K Rowling s Harry Potter Series. Many
people have different opinions as to what was Ms. Rowling s true theme was towards this series. Some
may say that it is; Good V.S Evil, Coming of Age, Death, or Friendship. They always forget that the
main theme is Love. Rowling portrayed the theme of the book through her characters personality and
how love changed everybody life. Throughout her series there were series of different type of love
going one. Some may include Sacrificial Love, Unconditional Love, Love Hate, Love turning evil
good. Since Harry really never had love showed towards him in life because he lived with his Uncles,
Aunt, and cousins who are muggles. Moving to Hogwarts he was showed lots of love. This love
helped Harry destroy evil at its worst and help him protect the ones he love. Even though it was plenty
of sacrificial death going on in this series, it was all for the right reasons, protecting the ones they
love.
Keywords: Muggles; Love; Sacrificial Love, Unconditional Love, Love Hate
J.K Rowling featured her series for Harry Potter around love and hate. She wanted to prove that Love
is stronger than hatred. J.K Rowling proves to us that although evil cheats and tries to take over, love
can conquer all. She shows that love is a force that is more formidable than any other. J.K Rowling
portrayed series of Love and Hatred though the characters personalities throughout her book series.

Compare And Contrast Xbox One Vs Ps4
Equally the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One are home video game consoles. The PlayStation 4 was
developed by Sony Computer Entertainment while Microsoft developed the Xbox One. These two
consoles, as well as the Nintendo Wii U, are part of the eighth generation of video game consoles. The
differences that could be discussed between this two consoles are the costs, the internal storage, and
the changes made to the controllers. The PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One prices appear to be
somehow similar. Initially, the Xbox One with Kinect was retailed for $500; however, they launched a
Kinect free version of the Xbox One for $400. Later on, they launched several Kinect free bundles
with games included going from $350 to $400, although

Flexible Li-Ion Batteries Essay
Flexible Li ion batteries (LIBs) have a strong oncoming consumer market demand for use in wearable
electronic devices, flexible smart electronics, roll up displays, electronic shelf labels, active radio
frequency identification tags, and implantable medical devices. This market demand necessitates
research and development of flexible LIBs in order to fulfill the power requirements of these next
generation devices. One of the main areas of research and development of high performance flexible
LIBs is the active and inactive materials used in manufacturing these batteries. Active materials are
those materials used in the battery electrodes that can store lithium ions in their structure. The
remaining materials used in manufacturing flexible ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As explained by IDTech Ex report that the flexible electronics market will reach over $76 billion by
2023[1],while the market for flexible, thin, stretchable and bendable batteries will grow to become
about $471 million industry by 2026[2]. Additionally, the product is considered the most promising
energy storage device with low carbon dioxide emission. The energy density of the lithium ion battery
range between 120 170 Wh Kg 1 and 250 380 Wh l 1 more higher than Ni Cd and Lead acid[3]. LIB
has three major electronically active components namely anode, electrolyte, and cathode. The anode is
the negative electrode that releases electrons into an external circuit during a discharge process that
involves the oxidation of chemical reactions. On the other hand, the cathode is the positive electrode
that is reduced during a reaction. Notably, the lithium ions are stored within the cathode after a cell is
discharged. Both cathode and anode stores energy while on charge, and releases it on discharge[4].
Cathode materials have relatively high electrochemical potentials while anode materials have low
potentials. This design approach helps maximize the battery s output voltage. The final active
component of the LIB is the electrolyte. It is a mixture of a set of organic solvents containing
disassociated lithium salts that enables Li+ transportation between the anode and the cathode. Besides,
other complementary components, such as current collectors attached to the

Not Having Kids Research Paper
My mom has constantly shared snippets of stories from her past with me, so I have been given a
glimpse into what her life was like before she had me. I have constantly been intrigued by the stories
that she has told me, so when this project was assigned I wanted to learn about what she considers her
hero s journey to be. Before talking to her, I would not have imagined that she considers her hero s
journey to be having my sister and me.
It wasn t until my mom was in her early thirties that she even considered having kids. Before then, she
had gone through her life with the idea of not having kids at all. That changed when a few of her
friends started having children. At first, it didn t prompt any emotion or feeling out of her until more
and more of them started becoming pregnant. That triggered something in me, like, I don t know,
primal, and I wanted to have kids. I knew I wanted to have kids. I don t know that I wanted to have

Proponents Of Lawyer Dissatisfaction Discredit The...
C. Reasons to Question Survey Data
Proponents of lawyer dissatisfaction discredit the reliability of survey data in several ways. First,
proponents look at the procedural and substantive defects inherent to survey testing. Second,
proponents highlight related survey data such as the high levels of lawyer depression, alcoholism, and
suicide rates, to name a few which are complimentary to the view that many lawyers are dissatisfied.
Last, proponents and opponents alike, suggest that lawyers may be in denial or untruthful when
responding to satisfaction surveys. Therefore, proponents of lawyer dissatisfaction argue that survey
data is unreliable in measuring lawyer dissatisfaction. David Chambers, a law professor at the
University of Michigan Law School, argues that procedural and substantive defects inherent to survey
data make it an unreliable method for measuring lawyer dissatisfaction. First, most lawyers only place
themselves above the midpoint on a satisfaction scale, which is barely more positive than negative.
Second, surveys are conducted at a specific time and place, and therefore do not give a complete
analysis of satisfaction. Last is the fact that many lawyers do not respond to surveys; and this is likely
to be the most true among lawyers that are the least satisfied. As a result, the deference given to
positive claims about lawyer satisfaction are not grounded in reliable evidence. Positive survey data
on lawyer satisfaction cannot be reconciled with

ranged from 12 20 years old. The names of the black boys were Roy Wright 12, Eugene Williams 13,
Charlie Weems 16, Ozie Powell 16, Willie Roberson 16, Olen Montgomery 17, Haywood Patterson
18, Andy Wright 19, and Clarence Norris 19. The trial is notoriously known as The Scottsboro Boys
Trial. While the trial is considered a key trial in America s criminal justice system, it showed the
injustice in the Jim Crow south legal system.
On March 25, 1931, nine African Americans were riding a cargo train with a number of white males
and two white women. While on the train, a fight broke out between the white and black boys that
were on the train. The black boys were able to kick the white boys off the train. The white boys alerted
the station master that they were assaulted by a group of black boys. Once the train got to the next
stop, all of the black boys were detained and transported to a jail in Scottsboro, Alabama. While the
black boys were not detained by the police, they were detained by an angry group of whites.
While at the station, the boy s charges were related to the fight that was on the train. When the police
questioned the two girls that were on the train, the girls said that they were raped; they said that in
order to evade ethics charges. This was important because any African American male accused of
raping or murdering whites would get lynched. The woman names

Nuclear Power Is The Best Efficient Power Production Method
Introduction:
Over the years there has been controversy over whether nuclear power is the most efficient power
production method in the world for the future. As global warming is increasing, the amount of carbon
dioxide emitted into the air is also increasing, and a global concern is arising about whether the
current power production methods using fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas are long term, as these
power production methods are seen as temporary because these recourses are becoming abundant. The
most widely thought concern of the population is how long the systems we are currently are going to
last before the fuel for power runs out. There have been successful attempts to use ecological systems
such as hydropower, wind energy, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Similarly, there are ethnic concerns about the production of atomic bombs, as these are a form of
fission but are an uncontrolled chain reaction unlike the controlled chain reaction of fission that
provides energy in nuclear reactors.
Nuclear energy allows one to produce energy without increasing the atmospheric carbon dioxide or
other greenhouse gases and does not stimulate global warming. There are two ways that this can be
achieved, either through nuclear fission or through nuclear fusion. Fission is known as the splitting of
large nuclei such as Uranium 235, resulting in a loss of mass and hence a release in energy in the form
of heat. This energy is used to produce steam, making a turbine spin, and then providing the power for
electricity to be produced. It is currently one of the strongest substitutes for power production methods
using fossil fuels as nuclear fuels could potentially last for about 2000 years.
Nuclear fusion, or the fusing together of light nuclei to form larger ones can create another form of
nuclear energy. Essentially, it is the exact reaction that occurs in the sun, as the sun s heat is created by
the bombardment of hydrogen atoms creating helium and a neutron during which energy is

this quality even if they don t know it yet. In both The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan and
The Giver by Lois Lowry the main characters find their own bravery when focused on their own
survival. In The Giver, Jonas bravery shined through when he decided to leave his community for the
better of others. In The Forest Of Hands and Teeth, the bravery in Mary is evident when decided to
leave her community on the risky, forbidden path that she had always been warned of. Both of the
characters bravery is shown when their lives are put at risk and they are able to go after their own

his community. Jonas decided to take gabe anyway and they made it. Jonas was brave enough to not
only risk his own life, but also Gabriels for the people in his community. Joas was trying to save his
community and he left the safety of it to help it. He put his life before everyone else s and that is
brave. In The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan, Mary also discovers her bravery when trying
to survive. Primarily, Mary has a strong desire to see the ocean. This is brave because the ocean is a
very dangerous place. Unconsecrated roam the beaches and wash up on shore. Mary learns this but
refuses to let her greatest desire die. Mary has watched both her mother and father pass, and those are
the people who spoke to her about the ocean and told stories about how beautiful it is. They told her

The Importance of a Kindergarten Teacher
Kindergarten children thrive when they can work independently and cooperatively with a small group

To teach young children that being yourself is the best way to live, taking chances, being respectful
and opening up always goes a long way. I feel she wants to show us that reading and writing are great
separate but together it shows within. Words are taught to people from books, so if no one reads new

She was a shy girl, stayed at home, did the same activities daily and didn t want to be in that town. In

communicate Angelous childhood reverence for this woman? Why were the cookies and lemonade so
important?
The description details how neat, clean, up scaled, homely and the feeling of love surrounding being
there. The cookies and lemonade are important because Mrs. Flowers made the especially for her and
it was like the two having tea with sandwiches.
8. Why does Angelou choose to use dialogue in paragraphs 3741 instead of just describing the scene?
Because the way she describes it makes you feel like your right there, knowing the feeling without
actually seeing the item. Capturing the reader s attention to detail bring the scenery closer to

The Four Stages Of Bruce Tuckman s Model Of Group Theory
When Bruce Tuckman proposed the model of group development in 1965, the model assumed four
stages which include forming storming norming performing stages. However, a fifth model was
introduced to encapsulate the already functioning models and this model became known as the
adjourning phase (Bauer Erdogan, 2009, p. 191). This group development stages will now be
described below:
The first stage in the group development model is the forming stage which is a time when a group
officially comes together for the first time. This stage is full of uncertainty as members of the group do
not know what role they might be asked to play and what level of behavior is accepted or not accepted
in the group. It s a time when individuals try to get acquainted ... Show more content on

Similarly, this stage characterizes a great deal of friendship where members rely on their capability to
handle a task and see it done without a leader instructing them how to do it. This stage is also a period
when group members exhibit an unconditional respect for their colleagues and even request feedback
on their level of performance in the task at hand. Apparently, it is not uncommon to have a close
confidant whom personal or intimate secret can be told. Additionally, it s at the norming stage of the
group development that members introduce rules and regulation that determine the functionality of the
group. The level of energy in the group at this stage is extremely high that Bauer and Erdogan (2009)
recommend that it will be appreciated should the leader step aside and only function as a facilitator to
the group whose capability is beyond bound and ready to confront tough challenges with the
confidence of scaling through without

Essay On The Confederacy
If you study the history of any country, it is bound to have uncomfortable topics that the people of that
country would rather not think about. This includes the United States; The US is not lacking in
uncomfortable topics in its history. If you look at any part if the nation s history there will be dark
sides. However, for many people in the united states they would just rather avoid the blemishes and
look at the positive s and the people such as the founding fathers as if they were perfect. The

This is a difficult question to answer because with Robert E. Lee he was never a president so there is a
better argument for getting rid of statues and places named after him. However, with Woodrow Wilson
he was a president an American icon and a racist so should his name be taken down from this school
in Princeton or does he get a pass because he led this country. I believe it should be renamed because
it goes against the what the school stands for however I do not think it should be taken down just
because he was a racist because some of the founding fathers were racist and many of them owned
slaves yet we glorify them.
It is obvious that some racists have appropriated and desecrated the Confederate battle flag for their
pathetic causes, but those hateful folks also commonly display the Christian cross and the American
flag. Do those symbols also inspire racism? This is another example of when people live in a country
or believe in a religion and they refuse to look at the dark parts of its history. Racism is evident
through all American history and although the Christian cross stands for many great things the history
of those who worship Christianity is also very dark. The confederate battle flag stands for many
terrible and wrong ideals however that flag is icon in American history and is extremely important

Heavy Metal Music Stereotypes
In the documentary the main message is that the music that we listen to has a negative impact on the
way we act and how we think. In my opinion some of the music we listen to can have a very negative
effect on how we view people and some situations that can lead to death or scrutinizing sexuality. For
example in a study, A study performed to explore the possible effect of heavy metal music containing
either sexually violent or nonviolent lyrics on males attitudes toward women revealed that those
exposed to heavy metal music, with either sexually violent or nonviolent lyrics, showed significantly
more negative stereotyped attitudes toward women than those in a group instead exposed to classical

The cost of an EMR system is an ongoing expense with a significant initial cost. There are many
financial considerations involved in implementing an integrated EMR similar to the EMR utilized by
Mayo Clinic. A fully integrated system will include costs for each facility, as well as the central costs
at corporate headquarters.
The CIO Consortium (2011) completed a cost study of evaluating, deploying, and operating an EMR
system at a 25 facility chain providing nursing care and rehabilitation services. While the fees in this
cost study may be different from what is required at another type of facility, the cost study includes

Master Harold And All Quiet On The Western Front
Creativity and art are hailed as the healers of trauma and alleviators of suffering, but just because
Bertolt Brecht said that even in the dark times, there will be singing in the dark times, does not mean
that it will solve problems happening at present or repercussions in the future. Both novels that we
have read this year, Master Harold and the boys, and All Quiet on the Western Front, show people in
eras of suffering, going through difficult times, and how they coped with their personal tragedies. Both
protagonists have brief moments of respite, but neither are rewarded with happy endings. Karl of All
Quiet perishes, and Hally ruins a long cherished friendship. But even this doesn t show the widespread

Racial Inequality And Gender Inequality
In today s world discrimination is a racial inequality when it come to different races in the United
states. Discrimination has been around for years and have created a social inequality , economic crises
and have lowered individuals into a group known as the racial minorities .Racial minorities can be
classified as older people , women , immigrants and young men and women. Women from the early
1600 s to today s women have been discriminated against for years. Women have never had the same
respect as men so, they had to earn respect by stepping up for their rights. Women have made it clear
in modern society, that we have the ability to perform equal skills and become success in virtually
every endeavor engaged in by men including, employment, athletes, academics and politics.Yet we
have discrimination on the basis of racial inequality which has a long history in United States
.Inequalities in the Unites States have singled out elderly people by not helping the older people be
apart of today s society meaning, we do not hire older people after a certain age because we think they
are not capable of working. We look at elderly as people to be retired, stay home, and very sickly.
Roscigno studies show some older workers are terminated just before their pensions are set to kick in
or increase. This type of firing profoundly affects older workers job security, long term financial well
being and access to health care. Social inequalities have created this particular

A Report On The Russian Hospitality Sector
Growth of tourism in Russia has been rapid, fuelled by the nation s rich history and diverse geography
along with a strong economy. Russia has faced a growth in both outbound and inbound tourism in the
last decade.
According to Hilton Worldwide (2012) Russia is an upcoming important market with the maximum
number of potential hotel openings planned than anywhere else in Europe. Accounting the vast hotel
market capacity of the Russian territory and its rapid development of the leisure and business travel
sector, the need to scrutinize its travel and accommodation market trends and to identify changes in
strategic developments of international hotel brands is of immense interest. This essay will analyse the
developments in the Russian hospitality sector, focussing on international hotel chains and shedding
light on the minority stake of local brands.
The hospitality and tourism environment of Russia has seen a considerable change since the 2000 s,
with a growing need and to fulfil the void of role of the service sector in the country. Recently, the
interdependent sectors of hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism have been boosted through
government programs and investments including Special Economic Zones (SEZ) in tourism and
recreation (Sheresheva 2012).
Upcoming events such as the FIFA World Cup which is to be held in Russia in 2018 and recent past
events like the UPEC Summit in Vladivostok in 2013, The Winter Olympic Games and Race Formula
1 in Sochi in 20141 has

Ford Motor Company is undergoing a transformation that is putting their customers at the center of everything they do. Their vision is to be the world s leading consumer company for automotive products and services. That requires a much different headset than that of a traditional automobile manufacturer one that concentrates intensely on the people who buy and use their products. Obviously, they had had a pretty good idea of what their customers wanted in the past, or we wouldn t be approaching our 100th anniversary. For nearly a century, Ford Motor Company has worked to improve people s lives and be a responsible and valuable member of the community. • 7. Summer Sleep-Away Camps Summer Time Fun As adults, we spend a lot of time away from our family and friends due to work or other priorities in our life. We learn to adapt and keep going through these times of being away and this can make us a greater person. Summer sleep away camp is much like a longer version of a sleepover and can be a great head start for children who may not be away from their family and friends much. This leads me to feel that summer sleep away camps have positive effects on children and should even be considered important to the development of a child. For me, the biggest reason for summer sleep away camps is to help the child develop more. Camps offer more life experience that are likely to come up in later adulthood. For instance, when I was younger I went to a camp for a whole month! While this statement can be true for the population of privileged white people, Canada, unfortunately, has had some unproud moments in its history, and sadly, the treatment of minorities is still poor today. Specifically, there has been historic problems between Canada and indigenous people, from as early as the colonization of the land stolen from the indigenous people to the assimilation of youth with residential schools. When these reports were made to the local police, they were ignored and not taken seriously which contradicts the duties that the police service should provide. Attention was not brought to these reports until the Philip Owens, Vancouver mayor, ordered the police to investigate these concerns (Culhane 2003). After the local forces took control and started investigating, this issue started getting more and more coverage in academics, and media, convicts were finally being arrested for their wrongdoing. While this action did not solve the problem, it was successful in initiating a conversation that was not previously had, which was a significant movement for acknowledging the crisis. A positive correlation was observed between the wind s speeds and the bridge s vibrations in certain tests, yet contradictory results are also in existence which prove no correlation between the two. Media and The Agenda Setting Theory According to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, section 11d, the accused is to be presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law in a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal (Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, 1982). Despite the right to one s innocence preceding a fair and public trial, the indicted typically receives mass media coverage, making the individual susceptible to the opinion s of the public. This is especially true in the case of a renowned individual, such as a celebrity or politician. The media s coverage of the news, prior to a fair hearing, results in public scrutiny of subjects. Media involvement generates public uproar, frequently resulting in the condemning of the accused preceding their right to a fair trial as stated in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Not only is an individual s right, according to the charter, to be presumed innocent jeopardized by the media but also their assumed right to a private life is put into question. Agenda setting allows for the establishment of public awareness to issues made relevant by media. There are two assumptions underlying the agenda setting theory (McCombs Shaw, 1972). The energy density of the lithium ion battery range between 120 170 Wh Kg 1 and 250 380 Wh l 1 more higher than Ni Cd and Lead acid[3]. The anode is the negative electrode that releases electrons into an external circuit during a discharge process that involves the oxidation of chemical reactions. On the other hand, the cathode is the positive electrode that is reduced during a reaction. Notably, the lithium ions are stored within the cathode after a cell is discharged. Both cathode and anode stores energy while on charge, and releases it on discharge[4]. Cathode materials have relatively high electrochemical potentials while anode materials have low potentials. This design approach helps maximize the battery s output voltage. The final active component of the LIB is the electrolyte. • 30. Proponents Of Lawyer Dissatisfaction Discredit The... C. Reasons to Question Survey Data Proponents of lawyer dissatisfaction discredit the reliability of survey data in several ways. First, proponents look at the procedural and substantive defects inherent to survey testing. Second, proponents highlight related survey data such as the high levels of lawyer depression, alcoholism, and suicide rates, to name a few which are complimentary to the view that many lawyers are dissatisfied. Last, proponents and opponents alike, suggest that lawyers may be in denial or untruthful when responding to satisfaction surveys. Therefore, proponents of lawyer dissatisfaction argue that survey data is unreliable in measuring lawyer dissatisfaction. David Chambers, a law professor at the University of Michigan Law School, argues that procedural and substantive defects inherent to survey data make it an unreliable method for measuring lawyer dissatisfaction. First, most lawyers only place themselves above the midpoint on a satisfaction scale, which is barely more positive than negative. Second, surveys are conducted at a specific time and place, and therefore do not give a complete analysis of satisfaction. Last is the fact that many lawyers do not respond to surveys; and this is likely to be the most true among lawyers that are the least satisfied. As a result, the deference given to positive claims about lawyer satisfaction are not grounded in reliable evidence. Positive survey data on lawyer satisfaction cannot be reconciled with ... The names of the black boys were Roy Wright 12, Eugene Williams 13, Charlie Weems 16, Ozie Powell 16, Willie Roberson 16, Olen Montgomery 17, Haywood Patterson 18, Andy Wright 19, and Clarence Norris 19. The trial is notoriously known as The Scottsboro Boys Trial. While the trial is considered a key trial in America s criminal justice system, it showed the injustice in the Jim Crow south legal system. On March 25, 1931, nine African Americans were riding a cargo train with a number of white males and two white women. While on the train, a fight broke out between the white and black boys that were on the train. The black boys were able to kick the white boys off the train. The white boys alerted the station master that they were assaulted by a group of black boys. Once the train got to the next stop, all of the black boys were detained and transported to a jail in Scottsboro, Alabama. While the black boys were not detained by the police, they were detained by an angry group of whites. While at the station, the boy s charges were related to the fight that was on the train. When the police questioned the two girls that were on the train, the girls said that they were raped; they said that in order to evade ethics charges. This was important because any African American male accused of raping or murdering whites would get lynched. The woman names ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. Nuclear Power Is The Best Efficient Power Production Method Introduction: Over the years there has been controversy over whether nuclear power is the most efficient power production method in the world for the future. As global warming is increasing, the amount of carbon dioxide emitted into the air is also increasing, and a global concern is arising about whether the current power production methods using fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas are long term, as these power production methods are seen as temporary because these recourses are becoming abundant. The most widely thought concern of the population is how long the systems we are currently are going to last before the fuel for power runs out. There have been successful attempts to use ecological systems such as hydropower, wind energy, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Similarly, there are ethnic concerns about the production of atomic bombs, as these are a form of fission but are an uncontrolled chain reaction unlike the controlled chain reaction of fission that provides energy in nuclear reactors. Nuclear energy allows one to produce energy without increasing the atmospheric carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases and does not stimulate global warming. There are two ways that this can be achieved, either through nuclear fission or through nuclear fusion. Fission is known as the splitting of large nuclei such as Uranium 235, resulting in a loss of mass and hence a release in energy in the form of heat. This energy is used to produce steam, making a turbine spin, and then providing the power for electricity to be produced. It is currently one of the strongest substitutes for power production methods using fossil fuels as nuclear fuels could potentially last for about 2000 years. Nuclear fusion, or the fusing together of light nuclei to form larger ones can create another form of nuclear energy. Essentially, it is the exact reaction that occurs in the sun, as the sun s heat is created by the bombardment of hydrogen atoms creating helium and a neutron during which energy is ... This group development stages will now be described below: The first stage in the group development model is the forming stage which is a time when a group officially comes together for the first time.
