2. Front Cover
• The main image connotes simplicity. You could
argue that the blue could connote sadness but
the other small images/figures and how they
sweep across the page, suggests happiness and
excitement, especially for music. The fact that it
is a close up, reinforces the star image that Dyer
said artists try to establish. In addition, the image
supports the seriousness of Blunt’s music.
• The font is very simple and as a result connotes
simplicity. Furthermore, it is quite bold and so
grabs your attention.
• The bright blue with the white red and orange
creates a very lively feel. This colour scheme
connotes excitement, as well as creating a cool,
calm mood.
• The layout is very simple also and so reinforces
the calm mood. Moreover, the text is separate to
the image and therefore allows you see
everything clearly.

3. Back
• As expected, there is the track list
on the back and this is surrounded
by similar images/figure from the
front cover. This all connotes fun
and there is a sense of
sophistication.
• There is also small print, copyright
information, as you would expect,
including a bar code and the logo of
the record label.

4. Inside
• Inside continues the similar house style.
The image on the left is almost identical to
the one on the front cover. However, this
time it has a red-like effect on it, perhaps
connoting excitement but all the while
sustaining a sense of simplicity and
sophistication. In addition, there are the
same images/figure seen on the front and
back and all of this gives the digipack a
sense of continuity and gives the artist a
brand identity and a strong star image.
• Furthermore, the digipak comes with a
booklet and one disk. In contrast, these two
items are not as coherent as the rest of the
product. Therefore a little bit of difference
within the product(and possibly between
products) is ok.
