Mac OS X 10.2 "Jaguar" was the third major release of Mac OS X, succeeding 10.1 "Puma". It featured improvements to stability, speed and included applications like iChat. New features included Address Book, Bonjour for device discovery, and Quartz Extreme for improved graphics performance. Jaguar was the first release to use its code name in marketing. It supported Power Mac G4/G3 and iMac/PowerBook systems with 128MB RAM or more.
