Romina Munoz took a learning preferences survey in class that identified her as a visual learner. She found the survey results helpful in determining what learning strategies work best for her. While she remains a visual learner, through the class she developed stronger communication skills and believes learning preferences impact student success. The class activities on using technologies like iPods, mp3 players, and podcasts to learn helped her gain a broader and deeper understanding of how to apply these tools to improve her grades. Creating podcasts for another class allowed her to directly apply what she learned to other subject areas. She continues using these technologies that have proven effective for her learning process.
